Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure,
exploration and factory automation elements where you have to build your
own galactic industrial empire from scratch
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!

ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

  3. I find that you need to be about 1000m from the nearest planet to engage warp.
    I have a problem with the assemblers, I scale my builds to either 30/sec Inbound or outbound per belt. But I routinely calculate it as 1x speed and then use 1.5x speed assemblers then wonder why some of them are not working 😛

  4. Exploited isn't much better than destroyed. The proper euphemism is developed. Google translates utnyttelse as exploitation, but minedrift as mining. Development is udvikling. I am Dutch, but udvikling sounds pretty much the same as our word ontwikkeling. Utnyttelse sounds like get whatever you can use out of it. Which is exploitation, basically. Minedrift sounds like an urge to dig holes in the ground?! That must be a Danish speciality!

  5. Quick tip on the spliters – you can put two in a row to make sure you get 100% in the direction you want. On the second spliter, you will need to make a loop back to the first spliter and put priority on the loop from the second spliter to the first spliter.

  6. Hi. Great work! I made a mega bus in my game and then saw you tower solution.. felt a little stupid. It's being changed now. (Please wait a bit with more genius ideas it's hard to keep up with you 😉 BUT I have made a return system for used lower tier stuff to get routed back and reused production. You probably won't need one or just delete old stuff. But it's a fun project to get working.

  7. You could always set up multiple cannon planets firing at the dyson sphere. Its a shame you can't program things, cause it would make sense to limit delivery of items to towers in the case that the guns don't have a shooting solution. That way you have guaranteed usage of sails, where-ever they go they'd be in use. Maybe have space stations or satellites you can build in orbit, to get the logistics' vessels to deliver to satellites in Lagrange points as well.
