This is an unofficial fan work and is not approved/endorsed by CD PROJEKT RED.

Thanks for watching! This took a long time to make, involving many hours of playing and replaying. Modding and re-modding. I basically had no life.

Thanks for a lovely story CDPR.

  1. Perfect way to encapsulate the feeling of being V through the entire thing, at the end of the game I was making decisions for V and not me. Wish it had a better launch, but this game is psychologically something no one else has been able to pull off. If there is something like that, i would love to play it.

  2. It's not everyday that you find an RPG that's willing to take you down a path most games would've made a point to escape. I started my journey thinking V would pin the blame on Arasaka and bring them crashing down out of some cultivated sense of social justice, and I ended it realizing that sometimes, the more personal calls for action are usually the best. Mike Pondsmith did mention that Cyberpunk as a setting focused largely on characters saving themselves – but I've just spent a gripping thirty hours getting acquainted with that notion.

My V didn't defeat some all-encroaching evil, he didn't save the world and probably left less of a footprint in Night City than he thinks he did – but he grew as a person. He clawed his way out from the edge of death and, at least in my playthrough, took to the stars while refusing to concede defeat. I'll probably never know what happens once he reaches that casino or if Mr. Blue Eyes had some worthwhile answers for him, but I don't think it matters.

"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Rage, rage, against the dying of the light."

  3. I didn't truly appreciate this game until I just decided to stop playing it like just a game and decided to actually take in how beautiful night city truly is, definitely in my top 5 games of 2020

  4. this video encapsulates it all. CDPR could've made a great game but they dropped it at the last moment. the story was there, the gameplay and the aesthetics. this is a video of what could've been had they not succumbed to greed. we could've had the greatest game ever made in all honesty, but like Icarus, they flew too close to the sun and burnt their wings. great video, but it's too late for CDPR…

  5. Who says this line – i know that you're dying? Also when does V say first words of this masterpiece – just want the world to know? Video is as amazing as game, so thank you both Author and CDPR

  6. They need to make another game in this world. I don’t care if there was a lot of bugs and problems. Story was fucking amazing, characters are fucking amazing, world has so much potential.

  7. This is so good. It really could have been used as a trailer. I dunno. If CDProjectRed performs some sort of major re-release, I kind of think they should just use this basically- it may be a little spoilerish, but.
