Valheim | Abandoned House Repair, Workbench & Tools | Solo Gameplay | 2

Let’s take advantage of this abandoned house in Valheim to learn about repair, building and making a sound base. We need to repair the roof, add a door and fix the floors. Fortunately the materials we need are abundantly found in the surrounding wood and we don’t need a lot to fix this house up. Eventually we’ll move on from here but this is just the second day so let’s be patient and learn.

  1. You can place fire inside but you need to place on ground, one flooring piece to be removed and roof piece for ventilation.
Also you need to make bed to create spawn point xD, you know the saying "rome wasn't built in a day" just take your time and enjoy.
Tip. If you burn meat it turns to charcoal also test your landscape away from base, if your stamina drops while swimming you will die. You can only throw harpoon great weapon.

  2. still early days Stephen, just a matter of getting used to the games mechanics…. i know some streamers have said it's the more user friendly game to get to grips with where a lot of the system makes more sense… however i personally think when you go from other survival games it can be a little odd to get to grips with the changes….

as for sneaking… night time the animals and enemies are more alert and will become hostile, and doing each action levels their respective stats up, so the more you sneak the more you level up… the more you melee the more you level up in that…. and so on
shooting arrows will require you to aim higher depending on range.

but once you have become familiar with it it will become easier 🙂 thoroughly enjoying the video and was wondering whether you would do this one or not 🙂
