Been waiting for this to drop thx man. Today is the day I move and build a new main base this will help for sure
"Oh my god these tips are so basic why would you call them advanced" xD
Your building videos are magic! Thank you for posting, you just helped me take my building to the next level!โก
Credit goes to my mod Max for showing me the window design!
I've been enjoying the building in this game immensely and have already sunk dozen hours in it a lone but still learned from this, much thanks! Also hoping I can soon enough prove my abilities in the community server as well as learn something from everyone else!
This is awesome! Thanks a lot! I've been playing for 30 hours mostly building so this really helps since I enjoy what game has to offer for builders))
For building platforms out, you can also do it with just 2×2 floors.
If you place floor on top of the top right, or left, corner in the direction you want to go, then target the opposite top corner of the piece you just placed, it will snap back down to the original piece.
Love the tips though, especially the one about holding shift with a hoe. I thought I had tried key modifiers before, to no avail, but I guess not all of them (or it was updated). But, that should be very useful for flattening out bays.
Ya these are advanced tips, I've been building almost nonstop (built a castle this past week) and I didn't realize the pickaxe digging tip and never thought to use the beams to help snap floors. Thank you!
Some super useful stuff here, thanks!
I've got about 100hrs into Valheim and I still learned a lot of useful info here
Good stuff, learned a lot!
You can place fires on core wood as well, including the bonfire, so the lighthouse is possible.
All of these tips were helpful for me. Especially the ground leveling. I never understood how it worked until now.
Great video and relaxing background music that isn't to loud and quick precise tips, Loving all the content man Keep It Up!
You may have just saved me mining thousands of stone…I dug a trench that I don't like and need it gone…
In all fairness, I watched this expecting to know everything, but the tip with the hoe and โshiftโ was really useful, thanks bro!
I made a castle ๐คฃ๐คฃ took me 3 days to make it and still needs more decoraciรณn
And I never understood how the hoe works. Now I know ๐ thanks
You can place 2 core wood on floor and put fire on it
Lots of hours in and i didnt know I used a hoe wrong haha
Legit pro tips, thank you sir
As of this moment I have 172 hours of playtime. The raised campfire mechanic was new to me, glad I watched the video. Thanks for passing on what you know!
Going into the video as a supposed experienced builder I thought: "Surely I am going to know every tip mentioned in the video"
Well, I stand corrected. Every tip had something new for me. Well done!
Very helpful tnx

Hey man, you make great videos with really good tips
Many thanks for de-mystifying the ground leveling for me – great content, keep up the excellent work!
Thanks – haven't even finished the video yet but already need to say the bit about levelling is so useful! So far this is the most useful Valheim video I've watched!
omg these tips are so basic, why are you calling it advanced?
Another way to place a fire in a wood building raised off the ground; place Wood Iron beams either all the way around or on opposite sides of a 2×2 wood floor tile, then place another Wood Iron across the middle (so it looks like an H). You can then place the fire on the beam crossing the middle and can remove the side beams if you want. You can even remove the floor tile to have a fire just laying on the Wood Iron beams, which looks kind of cool from below. You probably only need the Wood Iron crossing the H, I just liked the aesthetic of the beams on all so sides when I used it.
Just FYI, you can build a lighthouse with a bonfire. We just did it on my server. What we did was raise the ground as high as it would go, then place the bonfire on top of that column of dirt. Then build around it. Hope this helps.
This deserves more views ๐
Think your campfire and hearth stayed because it was touching the tree and not just the stone.
Some great tips thanks. One tip for you. Hearth is pronounces harth/haath ๐
Those window blinds were adorable! Awesome idea ๐
Dude, youโve earned a sub on this. I loved the fact that you got straight to the point, no self-promotion (that sometimes lasts longer than the content with some vids). Youโre a pleasure to listen to without frantic, screaming, or condescending voice or tones. Lastly, it was nice that you put a balance of volume and chose music that supported the content rather than clashed with it. Thank you for this awesome video and sharing the tips… I canโt wait to try some of these!
I have a quick question – supposedly, we can hold shift (I think) when placing an object to keep it from snapping and allow for collision/clipping placement. I have yet to experience it. What could I be doing wrong? Or am I expecting the wrong outcome? I simply donโt see a difference other than less aggressive snapping but snapping nonetheless.
Omg. Just one tip In. And youโve helped me sooo much
<generic positive comment>
That tip about filling in the trenches is about to save me soooo much stone
Me thinking I'm an intermediate / advance builder.. Tip #1… son of a b….
I found out you can place campfires on wood iron beams.
Nice Info man ๐
To bas i Watch This like 3 hours after i finished my treehouse was a pain to make floors snap ๐
