In this Valheim guide I will show you how to get the best weapon in the game vs undead to help in the swamp biome. Frostner is the best frost weapon in the game that delivers 3 damage types to enemies, frost damage, blunt damage, and spirit damage. The Spirit damage seems to provide a bonus against some types of enemies, such as Draugr or Wraiths, and can apply a Damage-over-time effect in some instances in Valheim like Skelatons, Draugr and slimes. The Frost damage drains the stamina from non-frost-based enemies, a few hits makes most enemies move very slow and incapable of attack. In this Valheim game guide I show you how to craft Frostner; firstly you must find the secret merchant location in valheim I will also show you how to get Ymir Flesh location for 120 gold coins, how to get silver and freeze gland in the mountain biome from drakes. I do not suggest upgrading Frostner at a Forge since it only increases its Frost damage, Durability, and Parry Force. You don’t have to drop it on the ground normally. It was because your inventory was full. You have to have a free spot in your inventory, even if you already have a partial stack of it.
I think Porcupine is better for late game.
So let me get this straight, if I’m “struggling in the swamps” I need to kill 5 drakes in the mtns, and have defeated swamp biome boss for the wishbone in order to find silver, in order to make the hammer. ezpz

Though Porcupine is pretty brutal as well, skeleton specifically take more damage, yellow numbers, from blunt.
Good guide to getting the hammer, but I don't think the reason of using it in the swamp is great. You would have to explore the next biome just to explore the previous biome.

Best thing for silver, bring a bronze pickaxe to unveil the silver vein since it can't break to ensure you don't miss any spots then mine silver with iron

the reason you couldn't buy more than one is because the game doesn't let you craft or buy anything when you don't have an extra slot available, even if said item would stack into another inventory slot already.
My merchant location was right next to the elder spawn for me lol so it was a good safe space
Having gone thru most of your vids on "Valheim" it looks more like a game of building than anything else ? Did I get the wrong impression ?
While draugr burn for spirit, I don’t think they’re weak to it or blunt either. The real benefit to frostner in the swamps is that nearly every enemy gets the wet debuff trying to get to you, which makes them weak to frost. Skeletons are weak to blunt though
My starting island was huge and had several of every single bio and the merchant was like a 5 min run North of the starting point. I crafted 3 boats first 2 victim of deathsquietos last sea serpent. So I stayed on my one island and I'm more than happy.

3:50 this glich is caused because the game is trying to find an open slot in your inv instead of stacking it in the already existing stack 🙂

I've noticed he says that on every video referring to the dead spirit enemies.
