If you want to catch whole herds of deer, there is an ancient Finnish technique that might work in this game depending on the fleeing behavior of the deer. You build walls or palisades in the shape of >o, with a narrow opening at the tip of the > leading into the o shaped pen. Then you chase the deer herd into the open end of the > and the walls funnel them into the pen, where you can stand in the opening and kill them. Some designs use a steep slope to keep the deer from exiting the pen, but in this game I think a gate might work better. The funnel walls can be as long as needed, and if the openings can be closed, one pen can have multiple funnels to drive deer in from different directions.
I got this after i seen you comment on the other game.. i have a small house built right outside the black forest and i made a cart to truck everything back to the main base
I noticed that you have Antlers (and not just Eikthor's). This means you have access to the Antler Pick (basic level Pickaxe). It is the only tool you have access to atm that can dig. You will need this to gain the Copper (also in the Black Forest) and Tin (along the cost, look for shiny silvery rocks) to make bronze (where are you getting the brass from? 7DTD?). To smelt the Bronze, you need a forge, which can be upgraded to tier 4 (or more) like the workbench. You like the club? Then you'll love the Bronze Mace and/or Sword. once you deal with the Elder (Boss #2) you get access to the swamp. In there, there are turnip seed plants and Iron Scraps.
Only mushrooms grow back in burial chambers. You can use the torch in your left hand for light while holding a club or spear. Your power during battle lets you run with less stamina saving it for fighting. Great vid, game on 😉
For cave raiding works for me if I equip shield and torch. Block one hit from skeleton, then hit him with torch and then swap torch for blunt damage weapon. He will lit the area and its easy to hit him again. And damage colours are yellow (higher), white (normal), grey (reduced)
Me and my brother also reached the bronze age, progress at last 😃

My kiln & smelter seem to have taken no damage from being out in the weather, so I think you'll be ok.
I haven't tried it, but I think you can build camp fires and torches in the dungeons. Great video as always.

👍
It would look a lot better to us if you would scroll back from your character a bit, very annoying watching too close like you do.
Welcome to the Bronze Age! This is where the crafting opens up big time… all sorts of Bronze goodies.. and new lighting options too!

Welcome to the bronze age Radio!
The algorithm recommended me this video. I don't know why, but this guy seems fine. I might want to stick around for a while.
When you hear or see crow in the black forest it means there is a burial chamber nearby.
