I don't know if its just world or what but I spent atleast an hour walking round the black forest I found and didn't find 1 single burial chamber 😔 played for 3hrs and 45mins and still not got a forge or kiln yet😂

This game has windage: yes slip it does lol.. if you look the arrow on your mini-map tells you which way it is blowing and this affects the way trees fall and when you're firing your arrows.. neat stuff

If your still looking for the merchant Try going straight south really far from the spawn boss shrine I've seen a few playthrough find them there so I tried and min was ocean so I built a boat and sure enough he was there across the sea directly south

Can confirm Merchants appear in the Black Forest! I found my first one in the forest south of my base in my world, and he sold some very helpful items.
i think you are going to need the axe in the mountain area
your map seed is so easy mode.. i literally had to spend like an in game week to get to the 2nd boss on my map lol
Slipg8r, incase its of interest too you, there is a Valheim Plus (S+ style mod) for valheim available on Nexusmods, it's definitely improved the gameplay for me atleast. Just figured id mention it in case you are interested and havent already seen it.
you're gonna need that iron pick and axe next to get the next level of resources. always make a new pick and axe when you get a better material for them.

Your boat will not move at all as long as no players are in it so to best park it roll up and jump out a bit away from shore so enemies cannot hit it. It won't move even in waves
I killed Bonemass today, make sure you take poison resist and healing potions or you are going to have a bad time. The summoning material is kinda cryptic too….. Good Luck! 😄 love this game, loving the series! Keep them coming.
I skipped iron armor and went to silver. Good thing I did so I didn't have to farm as much iron once you get to the final tier of armor which takes iron.
a workbench near your boat may help, for repair and disappearing =)

They have made it so it parks, jump off the boat and it will completely stop and then hop back on and it will still be stationary.

SL1P I hope you read this but this game with the upgrading system requires alot of building I had to build a forge building just for the forge table to be fully upgraded than I had to build a works house for the work table and I said screw it and redid my longhouse just to try and get top resting buff my town is turning out really neat but having multiple building is the way to go verse one massive crowded long house

It's a Longship not a schooner or sloop. The smaller boat's a Viking karve and the larger a Viking Longship. LOVE the longship.
Hey Slip, first, just want to say i have been really enjoying this series! second, can you show us some more of the physics with the water? can you block the channel off and dig it out deeper, then let the water back in? I would really like to see how this games works with water physics!
