There is one modder that released a mod loader, on nexus: InSlimVML. Not tested it myself, but it does say it is compatible with bepinex mods, which 90% of the mods are.
Texture mods are already starting. People announcing projects or trying to get teams together. This might be too early to predict but I think this is the start of a feeding (modding) frenzy.

Vulkan is a the new and better API and overtime will replace DX12 also highly recommend using that over DX12 the default API
Just a note: when those config files have a # in front of them, that's what we in the biz call a "comment". Using # comments it out of the code, meaning it's instructions, not actual code. Changing something in the comments does nothing, so when you changed the "Default Value" you were just editing the instructions. Only changing the actual uncommented value does anything.
Unfortunatly their implrementation of Vulkan is very flawed, no FPS gain plus huge screen tearing.. But at least they are implementing it and I am sure with time they will fix the issues.
Vulkan is a god send, usualy nets you some 10-15 fps (when properly implemented)
A good example of what vulkan can do is Doom Eternal.

For the Mod Manager button to work on the site, you have to have the Nexusmod Manager installed on your PC

noobish pc question if i have mods and play with friends but they don't have the mods will we still be able to play together or will it cause problems?
how do you get your game file/folder back to default or can you turn the mods off/on within the game? Like if you want to download and try it but don't like it and just don't wanna use any mods? Will deleting that file in the bepinEx > plugins get rid of the mod?
Side note: NEVER drop files directly into the main directory. NEVER DO IT it's unsafe and can easily mess up your game. USE A MOD MANAGER.
I know you're trying to help, but I'd highly recommend going slowly and perhaps not being so jittery with the mouse?
How do you configure the mods if you want to change the settings? I've installed them with Vortex. Most of the mods I downloaded only have a .dll file.
i was getting really annoyed with the small amount of slots on inventory. All fixed now thank you! Plus the ability to use equipment in water… i am pretty sure deep sea divers and divers alike use tools, so no emersion ruined there. Many games have the ability to craft using what is in your home base inventory so that is not breaking emersion. Lastly the recycle mod is good too because you are trying to survive in this game and recycling things is an absolute necessity when doing so.
