  2. One issue with building on water like this is that the only wooden support that doesn't eventually break when submerged in water is the palisade walls. Its a bit awkward to use them for support but as long as you don't mind them looking a bit odd underwater they work well for short structures across rivers.

  3. That's a nice tip, it's still hard to get some poles underneath to go all the way down to the bottom. Best I can do is use a hoe to raise the ground down there to meet the pole.
Also, sometimes you can place a vertical pole underwater, with a floor on it, for something to stand on underwater, if you get the height right the water can still come up to about your knees before you float. Sometimes this lets you get low enough to get an angle underneath a dock.

  4. Trying to build across a big lake to access two different islands in my map.
Problem is, it's very deep and practically impossible to do.
We are trying to raise the ground as high as possible, but it seems there's a hard cap on that, and it's relative to where it started.

  5. The only issue I'm having are the support pillars. I don't understand how people are able to make nice pillars every 2 planks that go to the bottom. I usually put a pillar on the water floor and build it up, and hope to god it lines up with my bridge. And then it's still connected to the middle of my planks and usually sticks out.
