got 3 crypts in the one swamp to clear tonight, going to have a lot of sailing to do back and forth! I've just found the merchant too, but haven't really looked through his inventory, but i'm sure i've heard there is an item you can buy that gives you more carrying capacity. Probably not a bad idea to buy that too
If anybody doesn’t know there are seeds which you can put on another server where you can get a lot of iron and etc.

So much speculation about this game…
You can also create a new world and find a swamp, then you colect all the iron you can, then simply log out and enter in your main world's base. That way you dont need to do all those boat trips. It isn't the most immersive thing, but it saves you much time

Luckily I been blessed with iron, after being very unlucky with sulting cores. Had to run through FOUR dungeons to get 10 sultings. First Black Forest had ONE dungeon, despite being fairly large. Oh well. Iron however… need bigger boat. 😀

Store all your heavy scrap in one of the crypts chests for pickup after clearing. Also bring mats to make a campfire and place it at the entrance so you can sit and regain your rested buff at comfort 3.
To carry a little more of the iron you can buy the belt from the shop keeper and it'll let you carry up to 450.
1.) You can use those body piles as a way to effectively farm Entrails until you get your desired number to make Sausages, a good mid-game food item. Those Blobs also drop a material for you to make a poison bomb as well.
2.) Bring at least two pickaxes. Three's better.
3.) It's better to first clear the dungeon and store all your Scrap Iron in one of those chests, then grab all of them (even if you're encumbered) and throw them near the entrance for pickup later rather than leaving the dungeon and going back and forth to your base just to deposit. It'll save you a LOT of time.
4.) If you're mining those Muddy Scrap Piles and you see a monster at the other side, mine those muddy piles just enough for you to get a clear vision but not totally mining all the way, then use your bow to kill them, all while the monsters are helpless against your attacks.
5.) Beware of Draugr Archers. They can surprise attack you through those muddy piles.
6.) You can also get some Chains as well in these dungeons. Try to grab them when possible because you need them for Hanging Braziers and Black Metal Shield/Towers, currently the best shields in the game.
7.) Lastly, try to grab those Yellow Mushrooms. You need 10x of those to craft Medium Stamina Potions. It's a godsend for both combat and survivability, especially when you reach Plains. 👌

I wish this game had all the features albion online does. Love the combat and feel of this game.
Help. I am wandering round the swamp and cant find ANY crypts 🙈 finding lots of areas with 3 x right angles of stone with green lights on guarded by Draugr but nothing there apart from the lights .

Why not take the Karve materials and TP and then build it at the other side rather sailing there and back 😉

Do the Crypts in the Swamp respawn the iron ?
Just use console commands ..and save time
