I always build a fireplace at the entrance chamber. It will end the dark fighting as well as superior healing if resting between halls.
Hot tip – just right click food in your inventory. You do not need to drag it to your bars.
Before I even watch this I just have to point out that the skeleton in the thumbnail is like "hey.. how are ya?" 🤣🤣

Bones are needed for upgrades so I would not destroy the skeleton spawners so you can wait nearby and farm skeletons for their bones.
How to get cores SUPER easily, if you got a really shitty starting island and need to sail oceans to get cores (provided you really don’t want to start fresh) no shame in console spawning them, you sorta need them to progress past ocean with tier two boat which you need bronze to get which you need cores, you get the idea. Press F5 key and type “imacheater” once cheats are enabled spawn only 10 cores using “spawn SertlingCore 10” case sensitive. Hope this helps, and please If you’re just starting don’t do this, just make a new world until you get a good seed or find one online that works for you
Some of these burial chambers can be so bad guys so go in fully expecting not to get any cores. I explored two and didn’t get any, only until my third one I was lucky to get THREE… not even enough for a smelter😐
Either you have a good seed or I'm just unlucky. I went through 3 crypts and haven't found a single core.
