  2. This is neither fast nor easy. This is how it's meant to be done and it's tedious and very prone to errors. I was surprised by the misleading title because as far as I know, there's no way around the tedious work of flattening the ground, not even using cheats makes it easy.

    I wish there was an easy way because I really enjoy making huge bases/structures in Valheim and flattening the ground takes most of my time:/

    I should also add that in my experience, it becomes a little bit easier if you first dig a trench around the place and then flatten only the edge. It's easier because then you can drag your camera down and easily check if the edge is flat. Then it becomes easier to take the edge as a reference for the land you're going to flatten. It's the same amount of work, but less error prone.
