How much Copper does doing this Yield on average? is it worth the hour commitment?

Have you ever come across a second node doing this? I seem to have multiple nodes in 1 spot
Weird — in all that time you mine around it I could mine the entire deposit. This video is a complete waste of time.
Hey man, I have been trying this with like 3 different nodes and locations, and it just doesn't work like in the video. I dig and dig the sides, and I can get about 3/4 of the way down, and I either end up hitting indestructible rock bottom, or I hit water (cant continue or i ll start swimming and/or drown).
So I never get this floating big ball of copper, just a regular big ball inside the earth. And its not 100% copper, its like 1 big copper ball with rock inside at random locations. So I never get this cracking-down effect on a big rock like in the video.
So instead of taking time to mine just the copper, you believe it's more efficient to add half an hour to mine the ground before the copper?? That doesn't help with anything. The ammout of copper is still the same, jusy the effort doubled.
Personal preference with this sort of thing. It is just faster to take a cart and mine it out normally

I’ve seen this idea before. done it to a certain degree in my play through.. but I built on the edge of the black forest so it’s not a very far trip for me. Great video !

How I come mining copper and not be disturbed by these freaking bastards? In my seed world they are EVERYWHERE.
just make a work station with wotkbench, fireplace and bed. Mine during the day, sleep at night. make a cartwheel to bring everything back. Use your first copper to a fully upgradable pickaxe and go again. Oh and make a base in the meadows, near the black forest.
i think this is an ultimate troll. i get 20 copper in about 30min…
I did it alone and it took me an hour too. You can actually build your workbench below the floating rock as it is considered shelter
