  1. Hi Danny! Prepare your poor dyslexic eyes for the misery of my lengthy commentary. πŸ˜ƒ 4 hours worth!
Please don’t take this mockingly, as I have great respect for you trying to overcome dyslexia as a lifelong issue, but my first thoughts at you going East instead of West was β€œEven your sense of direction is dyslexic.” 😁
In regards to Drakes/Wyverns, seeing them drop out of the sky in death just reminded me of the LOTR quote by Gandalf β€œ…until I smote his ruin upon the mountainside!” (when speaking of fighting the Balrog). Also, Drakes really are like Morrowind’s Cliffracers. Where’s Saint Joubert when ya need him to drive them off?! By the way,, I hope you guys find some of the super rare drops off them that Siev was talking about. You know just how rare if HE only found 2 this whole time! And the other Skyrim reference I made was when you guys killed that werewolf (Fenrir or something like that ?). All I could think was β€œHircine approves!”
Oh my god, poor Kim dying a lot. The episode became that TV show β€œNaked and Afraid” real quick. And all the spicy πŸ”₯ connotations thrown in there. I remember talking to the screen saying β€œDanny! Stop trying to give Kim your sausage in front of company!” And her hating to be a damsel in distress telling everyone to quit offering her food. Ironically, she was asking for the sausage in the end! 🀣 Not sure what the deal was with the whole β€œWhat’s n the box πŸ“¦?” thing & you quickly saying β€œDon’t.” I know the reference from the movie Se7en (same as your friend’s name), but it felt like there was some inside joke there that I was missing out on. (If so, do I really wanna know? πŸ˜†). That, in turn, only made me think of Justin Timberlake and his friend’s song β€˜D-ck 🌭 in a box 🎁.” Sorry. Just my crude sense of humour.
Ooh! Mentioned Fable! Love that series! Have 1-3 & even Anniversary edition. Hope they do something great with the franchise in the future.
Are your eyes πŸ‘ πŸ‘ bleeding 🩸 yet? Sorry there’s more. πŸ˜„ Got to more Skyrim tactics up the mountain πŸ” & I expected not Alduin, but Paarthurnax at the top of the Throat of the World. Siev was YEETing so many wolves down the mountain that it was just raining their bodies down onto you! Kim exclaiming quietly β€œMountain goat 🐐- Engage!” was funny! But, seeing so many wolves swarm near the mountain campsite, I see why you immediately ran back through the portal.
Almost forgot to mention those Drake eggs πŸ₯š. 200 pounds! What?! Ridiculous! And seeing Siev pouring sweat πŸ˜“, carrying all 3 at one point, making me wonder where on his person he might be stashing them. 😱 It was bad enough when you said you thought Km was trying to hatch one, as I thought to myself β€œEven if she sat on it, I don’t think her whole body is enough to keep it warm enough to hatch.” Besides, it’s a frost dragon. Maybe it likes the cold πŸ₯Ά. That lore story on the stone about a person named Ulf spotting the female drake dropping a load πŸ’© with bones 🦴 in it was a great touch. πŸ‘πŸ» Everything about that boss Moder was so depressing, though. Broke my heart πŸ’”. I kinda wish we COULD hatch those dragon eggs, at least one per character, to gain a pet, like Khaleesi the Dragon Queen on Game of Thrones. Then it wouldn’t feel like it was for nothing important. Also, I was thinking the exact same thing, that sliding back down the mountain afterward, shooting at Drakes with bows & arrows had a whole Legolas feel to it. πŸ§β€β™‚οΈ Kim casually trying to mine under you, but you were oblivious to it made for even more hilarious moments. I was thinking β€œHow does he not notice?” πŸ˜‚
Finally, I had a couple of questions. One, I always wondered what made you exit the architecture business and would you consider pursuing it again? I really hope you do get to build a dream home for you and Kim someday, maybe on land you own, to. Even just a modest one with room for future growth.
Secondly, curious about the in game trader in Valheim & what more we might learn about the types of items he sells, how much things generally cost and if his inventory changes & if so, how frequently. What items are most useful?
In closing (feeling relief if you read all this? πŸ˜„), just gotta say β€œDanny! We’ve got to see the Little Nightmare onesie!”

  2. You donΒ΄t need to carry that cart up the mountain. Just destroy it, take the materials up und build it next to the silver vein. Going down with it is much easier and comparing to running multiple times up and down if you carry the silver ore all by yourself, the cart seems at least for me the better solution.

  3. Hey Danny, you guys were comparing Valheim to various games and Severn touched on the right one for me at some point. This is for me the closest comparison to Terraria and at this point the creators of Valheim seem to have the same level of passion. My reasoning is that it has Procedural generation, character progression and inventory being saved across different worlds, digging to find ore, leveled up pick axes required for next level of ore, next level of ore needed for next armor, next armor level being crucial to progression, different / stronger waves attacking your base (like pirates etc. in Terraria), balance versus building and fighting with awesome boss battles. The only bits missing is some more NPC's with roles, magic etc. Being a huge Terraria fan, this game is insanely awesome imo. Being in early access with the level of detail and content already in this game is amazing. Kudos to you, Kim and Severn for doing these streams, it is super fun to watch.

  4. control + left clicking will send whatever you're clicking to preexisting stacks in your chests. just a literal timesaving mechanic i felt needed to be shared after 4 hours of you drag and dropping each fang, pelt, ingot, etc to the chest stacks. πŸ˜› keep up the great content!
