Link to mods and the mod manager are in the description. Make sure you use the mod manager to help install/uninstall and keep your mods updated. After you have the mod manager installed it is very easy to add mods to Valheim.
I like these more than some others that have been shown that people say "look so much better!" but they change stuff so much and when not everything is textured it can throw off the feel of the game when some things are super realistic and others are vanilla. I think if I had to choose one of these it would be Valheim Vanilla HD.
Not worth the change. Don’t spend all that time staring at items. To busy grinding. Maybe better for guys who love screenshots
Vanilla HD is the only one I'd consider, I don't notice a difference in the x4, and Badgers is too much, especially the reflections indoors.
I like the Valheim vanilla HD the best, but the original pixelated textures has a charm to it.
What kind of performance impact were you experiencing with the different mods?

I have delayed using any vibrance or 2-4k textures even though I have 32gb gpu ram… I'm concerned about not dying do to lag…
Idk y but I take pixel death too personal… esp with skill degrades…!

Thanks a lot for the video, nice scenes to compare. However, I would have loved to also see the performance impact of the texture packs (if any) and I think you forget to mention you also need the mod Custom Textures to make this work. But mostly I would base my decision on quality/performance, I wouldn't like the game to look amazing but also dropping 50 fps during play lol
Sorry, not to be critical But I would have preferred full screen comparisons. It was hard to really analyse the split screens.
how did they affect your FPS?
Thanks. I was curious how would the game look with improved textures, but somehow even after seeing them I'm still for the originals. There's something about the way they used basically oldschool textures (they actually remind me of Quake II) and still making it very aesthetically pleasing. Especially with the scenery. The low res stuff is probably bothering me a bit when it comes to the characters. Maybe they could be a tiny bit more detailed.
Does Vanilla HD Improve the character and armor and weapons aswell.
