Valheim is a major accomplishment. Top notch base building, the best sailing I’ve ever seen in a video game, realistic smoke physics for indoor fires, and pacing good enough that other studios should strive to imitate.
Also a special mention to the excellent soundtrack. The Meadows, Black Forest, and home themes are especially impressive.
