In this video I give you some tips for tackling the Plains Biome in Valheim! I also go over the black metal gear and the padded armor! Hope this was helpful!

  1. So apparently I ran into the mistlands in my world. From what I've heard it's not out yet but I did go across it in my world I haven't set foot on it yet because I want more wolf armor before I go there I did see what the biome looks like though the trees are very similar to the swamp. But taller and I think there's spiders I saw a bunch of spider webs

  2. This is an extremely helpful video. Straight to the point , knows what he's talking about , gives great tips.
Lox cape seems like a bug to me , i am assuming they meant to make it fire resist instead since we already got the wolf cloak that does the same and having frost resist in plains makes no sense.
Also , i just started plains today , and i find it really difficult to ''parry'' mobs , meaning block at the last minute to stagger them. Does it even work there ? vs goblins etc.
In general arrows work great vs goblin villages , especially sneak attack with priority on the shamans as you said. Problem is i end up spending a full stack on each village , even with fully upgraded draugr bow + obsidian arrows ( will soon change to needle ). T_T Thankfully , frostnyr mace seems to work quite well in melee since it knockbacks the goblin and they miss all their attacks.
Lastly , is farm barley/flax the only thing we absolutely need to get going on plains biome ? Does it need any other crafting stations ? Is the windmill better in plains for example ? Or can you simply stick to porting to your base for everything apart from transfering black metal ?
I reached the plains today with full intention of starting a new full base all over again , but in the first few buildings i changed my mind since i am solo and i need to transfer all the ingots all over again or even farm new ones , OMEGA QQ

  3. I accidentally found the plains with my mate while we were looking for fine wood to build a portal to get back from where we were. We landed, saw a wasp , died immediately and now I have to start again. Granted Iv only played like 15 hours but if I had known that the plains was that deadly I would have gone more prepared. I died to a fucking wasp
