Valheim Review | A Viking Afterlife Survival Game

Make purgatory great again! Valheim is a brilliant Viking themed survival game that has become an overnight success. It didnt take me long to realise why this game is so popular and well received. Put simply, its an indie gem.

Special thanks to Mario J. Martinez, Archangel, Jason T Barnes, Dean McGee, Steve, Alcoholistair, RageDMX47, Hector Salamanca, Corvo Fox-Gray, FatCat1, Anna Lovatt, Michael Pearce, ATR-42 and all of my Patreon supporters. Their stoic support humbles me.

  2. A lot of this reminds me of Satisfactory. They also announce auto-saves because they induce ever increasing lag spikes, they do a lot "correct" in that matter. This game looks interesting, it basically looks like a medieval-themed Satisfactory

  3. I just don't get why you don't have more subs than that PewDiePie fella. Your content is so much fucking better. Side note: Is it plausible to play this single player?

  4. I love this game. Been playing this with my two sons for the passed 3 weeks. I haven't been this addicted to a game in such a long time. Thanks for the review man!

  5. I've got nearly 200 hrs in the game and still haven't cleared the available 5 bosses. I don't even play survival/builder games. I also don't really play with mouse and keyboard, but guess what, the controller support in this game is really good! They didn't have to do that!

  6. @21Kiloton: great review. great game. we´re playing the s**t out of it. even rented a dedicated server, which we didn´t do since cs 1.6 back in the day.

one OCD-Note: while shifting items into crates. hold CTRL and Klick on an Item to automatically put it to the pile of same item already in the box. no need to drag it all seperately.

  8. So addicting, it starts slow it's so goddamn enjoyable.. Specially the building system (me being an architect appreciate it) and cutting down trees then watching the cascading trees kill each other in a glorious shower of wood splinters.

  9. I had managed to stay away from this games reviews up until this point buuuut your not going to not watch a Kilo-Review even if one of the best games since Stardew Valley may never see a console release and you have to just wish, want, and wait… I still loved the review!!

  10. Im still unsure about this game, i dont really have anyone to play it with so im afraid i will waste my money just like i did with Minecraft. My main issue with these type of games is that the overworld is "empty", theres no characters, factions big settlements and things like that that give the illusion its a "living world" of sorts.

As always nice to see more content. I hope you start streaming again soon even if its for only a day every week. Also im willing to lend you a hand with modding Fallout 4, theres a mod that adds real brothel mechanics with rewards. (it is also SFW.)
