  1. Ok i was going to keep this secret so the devs don't nerf this but I found a way to fast travel with ore/ingots from an outpost to your main base.

Simply set up a 'transfer' server build a chest and log out log into your original game full your inventory with any ore or ingots and log into the transfer server put everything into a chest and relog onto your main server fast travel to your main base then relog one more time onto the transfer server full your inventory and log back into your main base might seem tedious but its way faster than running it all back especially when it can take multiple trips sometimes where as it doesn't matter if your encumbered when you use this trick.

You heard it here first ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Ok i got one more banger but its kind of tricky to explain..
Essentialy you can build huge walls out of dirt that can't be broken or even damaged by monsters using the hoe and not that much stone

Like you mentioned in this video when you mine it tends to make you slope up each time you can aim the hoe at the edge of a hill and it will fill all the way up to where you are plus an extra step. keep stepping up until your happy with the height then trim it back with the pick after so its straight along the top. If you aim in the middle you can make huge perfect walls that can't be broken by monsters and each block only costs four stone regardless of how high the wall ends up becoming.

  3. Any tips on building really tall structures? i wanted to build a tower and raised a stone pile in the middle with the hoe but there is seemingly a limit on the amount you can place regardless of elevation, i wanted to attach struts along the way up but can't make it taller ๐Ÿ™

  4. I love this series. I love finding stuff out myself but I've overlooked many things while playing. Really love the tip about the moat and cutting the stone to get a flat surface. Keep em coming.

  5. Hey Chongish! I have notice that when you terraform and it raises the ground you're on, it you just swing the pick axe again without moving, it levels the ground out. twice the stam, but helps if you miss the first one!

  7. Chongish, the barley and flax can be mass harvested with a 2handed mace. Or something that does a nice big swing, it won't destroy the crops (I don't know if that's intended.) Doesn't work on tulips and carrots though.

  8. Finally reached the edge of the world on the right side of the map, the water starts to turn white, suddenly our ship dropped down. The earth is flat in this game. RIP 5 Vikings.

  9. Dungeons have roofs, so they are considered shelters. Building a campfire inside a dungeon gives the resting status (the zzz icon) and is a good way to replenish the rested buff without leaving. The resting status also make the regular healing ticks from food 5(?) times higher, which makes healing up a lot faster. I used a lot of campfires at the entrances in the Sunken Crypts.

Weapon skills could be trained by attacking something built from wood or stone last I checked. This came in handy when I wanted to train up the sword skill a bit when I first started using one. With a roof and fire nearby, stamina can be recovered really fast too, so training like this was faster than improving from actual combat. Maybe other skills can be trained in a similar way, a monster/animal locked up inside a structure might be good way to safely improve the sneaking skill, but I haven't tested this.

Monsters are weak/resistant to different damage types, trolls for example are weak to pierce but resistant to blunt. There is info on the valheim fandom wiki about the physical damages, but it doesn't have anything about elemental damage yet. As far as I can tell, fire (arrows) seems good against greydwarves and drakes, possibly also against trolls and the 2nd boss. I don't know if there are monsters weak to poison or frost yet. There might be some good tips to be found by exploring this.

  10. As always, great tips… now I need silver to get that bow.
Just one thing, for maximum storage put a half wall perpendicular to the wall, floorboard on that and put the chests perpendicular to the wall as well, like that you can put 2 on every floorboard.

  11. Really, really enjoying your content. I love the rapid fire tips, the videos aren't too long, and the sign off at the end is a great add of personality. I'm excited every time I see a new video from you, keep it up!
