  1. I'm starting to get why bigger companies use PR professionals to do the talking. 😀
    I get that they don't wish to change xyz that You ask for, but they did come across a bit douchy/disrespectful in the answers. Again, I do understand their position too, it's hard to tell fans You don't wish to do what they want, but could have put it a bit better.

  2. I like that your keeping up to date with these videos. I like that the devs are open and relaxed enough to just have some community art time and chat along and that it’s nothing demanding. I feel once you have a whole bunch of players asking tons of questions the whole thing will change. So it’s nice it’s a bit small for pointed Q&A. The feedback was interesting and appreciated.

    Sad they blame desync on routers and bad net and dont take any responsibility for their issue. Been a long time online gamer and dont have the best net but i can play anything but valheim. 😆

  4. They really need to work on optimization, and start plugging memory holes. I know that'll come, and it's probably being worked on, but it would fix some of the desync issues.

  5. The portal restrictions on ore and ingots are genius – they add a whole new logistics challenge to the game – Plz don't make them change it – maybe include a server option if there are some folks that don't like it.

  6. What is the point of a dedicated server if everyone's sync issues are dependent on connection speed of the first person to zone in? Blaming bad routers is a super lame excuse for bad net code.

  7. i would like to see some random rare drop items/weapons/armors/equipment in the world and more expansion on the items you can get from the trader. I want more of a reason to keep plundering loot from burial sites, tombs, and just otherwise random chests you find out in the wild. Like a cultivator that yeilds 2x more per seed/plant or leggings/chest that prevent the wet status. Maybe an item that doubles the length of consumables.

  8. Was it just me or did some of their answers seem a bit… Obnoxious? Arrogant? Definitely unnecessarily defensive. I mean, I love the game, I love OLMs videos and many other creator's videos but listening to the stream actually dropped my opinion of the devs.

  9. Thanks for taking the time to ask questions and make these videos! They are really helpful and concise. My two cents is that I do like the ore grind but I'm hoping they add dungeons to Mountains and Plains because compared to the density of the Swamp and Black Forest regions those biomes feel less fleshed out and more empty, I think that makes the grind more tedious. Hopefully I can make it to a livestream eventually!

  10. Co-op in this game sucks. My gaming group is international. We are in EU, NA, and Asia. We had a blast at launch together then they patched the game and we haven't been able to play together since. Looking at Atlas until they get dedicated servers fixed.

  11. Mods make the game much better and they fix alot of these issues. All loot floats on water, equipment slots, enemies actually drop loot that you can recycle or use…makes the game fun for a replay through

  12. i really hope that the devs watch this video and read this. Your oh-well-lasez-faire attitude is gonna sink this thing for us. Especially on the desync issue. But hey, you've already got your money, right. Already the makings for a bad developer.

  13. Thanks for the info! I hope they fix the terrain errors from digging motes. It is a lag fest on my 30 x 30 plot with a mote. I brought up the logs and there are a mass spam of Errors when I exit render and re-enter render. I am glad they gave answers to questions, but from this I gleamed that this game will be a flash in the pan if they keep this attitude of "I don't want to add mod support" thing. If they just put out tiny updates with no real fixes, the game will loose fans just as fast as gaining them.

  14. That desync question answer, jeez, like toddlers trying to explain photon tunneling. Think of the internet connections between you and your mates as a chain, only as strong as the weakest link. BUT, distance, weather, traffic (the usage kind not the honk honk kind) and then of course speeds… yes someone can have a crappy router, but its not always that simple. I personally would like to have the world save timer pushed out to every hour. As it stands it always save lags right in the middle of combat.

  15. For the ore progression, I feel is fine. It can be tedious, yes, but it's not a massive grind.

    It's really only grindy for Bronze IMO. As you need to 2 copper bars and 1 tin bar to make a bar.

    So you need make one trip to find copper deposits, and then another trip to find tin deposits (Which are much easier).

    Everything else only needs a single type of ore, so you don't need to scout as much.

  16. Honestly, I didn't like their answers. They were too defensive as if the community is attacking their game. I'm really into the building aspect of the game and not so much on the surviving side. This game has an amazing foundation and I think what would get it on a new level is allowing community mods. Not only will it prolong the life of the game, but it will expand it by a huge margin.
