Valorant team Vodafone Giants are being accused of using a game breaking camera bug to win matches in the Valorant Champions Tour, and their opponents demand they be disqualified.
The next stage of the VCT is underway, but already accusations of exploiting an in-game bug have some pros calling for a team to be disqualified. The Vodafone Giants are being accused of using a bug involving abusing Cypher’s camera by putting it in an impossible to target location with a clear view of much of the entire stage.
However, because this game breaking bug is on a new map, no one had reported the issue to Riot yet, so the admin refused to replay or restart the game since this was not a confirmed bug, despite the screenshots clearly showing broken textures and impossible positioning.
This Cypher cam abuse by the giants was captured in several of their VODs from the VCT, and the giants have gotten in trouble before for abusing in-game bugs in major Valorant events, but this was still apparently not enough for a DQ or a replay of their match.
Riot does, however, reserve the right to override the tournament admins and review the match themselves, so there is still a chance this Cypher cam abuse could see the Vodafone Giants in some hot water.

I don't see how they can get banned for that. Yes it is a little op but it is a fair play as the game lets them do that.
Instead of making a “bug list” why not just fix them.
how is that even a bug ? LMAO especially that sage wall…. omg
I never understood why game developers punished people for finding exploits in their game. As an example one time italy played england in rugby and before they played the game they worked out a little quirk in the rules that basically didnt let england play. Italy won the game and after the rules were changed so it wouldnt happen again. i think what should happen is that they get the round win but are then told that if they do it again they will be cheating.
Bad game design should not be punishable especially if its not listed.
i think its fair game to use any bug in the game, it should be valorant and the game developers fault for any bugs
this was riot's fault for pushing a fresh map right onto the official matches
If both teams can do it and it is in the game how is it wrong?
IS THIS AN INTENDED LINE OF SIGHT????
Yo I’m sorry but G2 always complains about bugs in events .
Hi, I'm genuinely confused how the first clip was a bug? Isn't that just a wall on the edge of the ground?
I used the cam as well lol
bs,its not on the bug list so riot didnt even clarify its a bug
honestly the players should not be punished. I know it sounds different from what others are saying. But considering that Valo is a game of advantage you get them wherever you can get them and it is up to the players if they use it or not. The dev team deserves most of the blame because they cater to their fan base instead of making sure that what they are putting out has no bugs or things like that.
Of course this is my own opinion and I can be wrong
Honestly speaking the Sage wall and Cypher cam should not be considered Bugs. Especially when there are ways to go around like not push that side(cypher situation) pre aim the location(sage wall). The Saga wall on top of the box is fine but on top the edge of the path is wrong doesn't make sense to me
Who at esports talk thought it was a good idea to give jake lucky a presenting job
This aint a bug fym.. Atleast its not under the map, just a good cam spot 🙄
how is that bug its suppose to be in the game?
Im 80kg but im 6”3
Imo Id say the Sage wall is less of a bug than this
2 things:
it's breakable, and it's visible.
not a bug imo.
Red giraffe
How is that a bug?
Thats not a 'bug'. Thats an 'exploit'.
Simple terms. Learn them.
Sova dart lungs ups commonly bounce off things of the map… There is literally nothing wrong with that cam
Can they like make a red line and if you use abillities above the line it counts as a bug, like as high up you cant use some abilities
Bruh how is this a bug its really normal to see cams at crazy spots in different maps like on B site on Bind where you can see long. It’s not like the cams in the air or on the ground so how would this be a bug
cheater after cheater lol so much for so called pro players. give any noob cheats and hes a pro player too!
