  1. They arent changing the meta at all, they are artificially changing the meta by basically making new weapons, his abilities arent that good on their own considering his revolver is literally one mag for 800, while a gurardian has multiple mags, refils over rounds, and a better scope than the chamber pistol.
His other two non-weapon abilities arent strong at all, his tp is lound, predictable, and easy to destroy, and his bot is visible at all ranges, only affects non movement related agents and cant be used in an offensive manner.
His operator is the only objective strong ability in his kit,
its an pre nerf nerfed operator, if you catch my drift, its an fast op that leg kills, but CAN NOT wallbang, also it only has 5 bullets, so you cant miss 4 shots, hit one and reload to restart the cycle. he has limited use for the awp and cant be used for crazy plays

  2. "Competitor to Killjoy and Cypher" "Competitor to Jett in some way" yeah sure bcs an agent that can escape death whenever she wants even if she did a mistake is sure as strong as someone like Cypher in the current meta.

  3. I still donโ€™t know about this character. Yeah him being able to trade deny is good but is his lack of ability to solo hold a site and lack of offense worth it? Might end up being pretty good as that extra fifth character

  4. I feel like he is not going to be picked up by a lot of players just like jett. Most people don't have enough confidence with skills like those. I think he was literally made to replace jett even giving him a free op.

  5. His other abilities seem really cool but I just do not agree with how they made agent specific guns. The distinction between abilities & guns was very neat until now.
I know abilities kill but all other abilities are unique in their ways, not a buffed deagle or a buffed awp.

  6. I called it in my nonsense early morning reddit post, Chamber is trying to pull away people from Jett.

    Here's what I wrote,

"(RIOT was trying to create an agent that) was more viable than Jett in terms of being an aggressive anchor that could reposition instantly, but in a way that is not overly competitive with limitations set on range, sound cue's, and pull out time. The last point, pull out time, came as a bug with Jett that everyone seemed to like. Problem is, while it works out in making sure she doesn't quickly re-peek after dashing, it heavily nerfs her viability to be able to dash aggressively and become a proper entry fragger as RIOT intended her to be. This was surely not a bug that would stay. I don't play Jett, and as much as I hate getting rushed by a Jett as a time falling back, the Dash being able to ruin timing is such a unique ability which I respect RIOT for adding. Instead though, players have been saving Dash as a "bail card", so RIOT decided to make Chamber's signature ability around it. To further push Jett players (especially those that OP) against using the Dash defensively, I think RIOT should simultaneously buff the pull out time, but limit Dashing to only the directions being faced. This would mean people can still use it aggressively, with pull out time buffed, it can make up for aggressive side dashes. Using the Dash to retreat however, would require the player to turn to their desired direction first, dash, then have to do a 180 to re-peek the angle if they wanted to."

  7. i think they should just make his Alarm bot retractable so he can create space like kj and Cypher in attack. 1 alarm watches flank. 1 is used to check angles. nobody there, get it back, and then used it for post plant. problem solved.

  8. Ngl he seems overhyped, his deag is 800 creds for a slightly stronger sheriff, his slows seems pretty gpod, and his tp is kinda loud. His op has 5 bullets but its good for eco. If anything, he seems pretty balanced, maybe even slightly underpowered imo.

  9. I feel as if when they explain how chamber will be able to tp around from dumpster to wherever but yoru has the semi same ability but not that many people use him as a agent to reposition where with chamber thats what his tp seems to be catching peoples eye and how to use his E.

  10. That's why I love Riot decisions on Valorant, cause they often change things that we've grown accustomed to
Like in the economy changes update (around July if I remember correctly), that they changed the whole economy system and how we have to start thinking from now on about spending skills in the round
