Valorant Pros BANNED 3 YEARS for Match Fixing (TEAMMATES KNEW)

Match fixing has been a prevalent issue in all Esports, and especially with the ongoing ESIC investigation for both CSGO and Valorant pros, this story may not come as a surprise. As a Valorant pro roster from Singapore has now had 2 members Germs and Dreamy banned for 3 years after fixing a match during a Valorant Ignition series.

At least one of the pros was caught betting thousands of dollars on a match in which they lost, and the remaining members of the team who all knew about the fixing but failed to inform the TO, were given punishments from 6 months to 1 year.

  1. Singapore's currency is worth less than the US dollar, but everything is way more expensive there. Cars can go up to 10 x the price that they would have in the United States.

  2. Singapore is a rich country but our esports scene is shit tier and pay are almost close to $0 so 4K is alot comparatively plus most aspiring pros gives up their esport dreams once they have to do their military service and decide that having a job is better in our Local context

  3. Why are you talking about Singapore like it's a poor country? It's got a higher cost of living than the USA, UK, France, Australia, Germany, South Korea, and Hong Kong. It is the country with the 10th highest cost of living in the world and the 3rd in all of Asia!

  4. RIOT really fucked up the punishments here. Should be perma ban for all people who had any degree of involvement. This approach they have taken will likely increase the amount of match fixes.

  6. As a fellow Singaporean, I would like to apologize on their behalf for being retarded and damaging the image that Singapore has built up and i hope that your image of Singapore will not change. Thank you.

  7. A former Singaporean apex pro here. A lot of us feel that the 3 year ban given to them isn't enough and a perma ban feels more in line to what they have done. The reason as to why I think they did it is because salaries for pros here is really really low, and the cost of living here is really high. Thus they let greed take over them and did what they did. Its sad considering the amount of people who struggle to get noticed here because there are very few orgs in the country and these two idiots take the position they had for granted.

  8. Bruh why are you making Singapore sound like it's a poor country with that phrasing. "Might mean a bit more compared to others"….like ??? What's that all about lmao.
