  1. pro cs is so boring dude, same teams, same maps same tactics, same glitches, same team inconsistency, valve workers literally dont give a fuck about his games look at tf2, fulled of cheaters and bots, look at cs, same thing idk how valve workers get paid tbh

  2. Lol def not valorant needs to work on hitboxes and actual mechanics and adding more maps like a lot more but for now they will just keeping making 100$ skin packs and juicing the player base for money

  3. With how they treated CS in the past I really hope it dies LOL. No game should rely on 3rd party sites like Faceit and ESEA to provide a better competitive environment for the game ("better" anti-cheat, 128 tick servers, decent MM, map bans). If Valve gets serious in the CSGO department (yes all 30 employees) then I'm willing to change my mind.

  4. I think it’s clear to say those of the csgo jump into valorant because they wasn’t able to stay in the top of the cs scene. Isn’t bad choice to go into valorant since it’s revive your gaming career instead of waiting to retire. But draken… he just being salty.

  5. i mean it actually funny when i read those tweet war between draken n smooya xd. but as for what draken said, i can assure u that valve will eventually do something about it when it happen. maybe some crowd funding. more involvement from valve on their cs pro scene, etc. we all know how valve operate. they only do something when the real problem(in this case valorant) come along.

  6. He’s just a washed up hasbeen that hopes and prays that valorant will save his dying carreer and that’s why he hope with every fiber of his being that it’ll be bigger, but it won’t. It’s just another one of the Overwatches that’ll die after a year or two since noone wants to watch it.

  7. Not sure why you keep pushing this narrative, Nitro is a big signing for a game like Valorant, but he just got dropped from the best NA team in CSGO. I mean if you enjoy watching a bunch of washed up rejects from the CSGO scene don't worry we have a bunch we can send your way. Hiko? Skadoodle? AZK? Crashies? Draken couldnt hang on NIP he could barely shoot the AWP lol

  8. It was very hard for me to get into CS esports because even though it's been established I felt I was watching the same thing over and over again. With valorant, the game is much easier to watch, just because it is an easier game to understand and let's be honest it looks better.

  9. Valorant has a good chance to compete in terms of players because it is much more accessible and appealing to non tactical fps players. For example, I had a decent amount of friends who play league try valorant. But comp scene wise I'm not sure about that. I believe there are much more serious csgo players while valorant has taken in much more of the casual fps scene. Not to mention sometimes csgo is boring to watch, especially with long drawn out rounds. Valorant I think suffers from that just as much or even more. Reminds me more of siege where the opening seconds people are doing alot of stuff and fighting for control. Then you also have the constant flip flop in valorant where the attackers hit a site hard, defenders full rotate because retaking is incredibly hard if the attackers have good utility and then if the attackers don't take the site they just sorta run to the other site or just reset and hit again at the end of the round.

  10. sponsors will be more inclined to be on board, but Valorant has A LOT more to balance in regards to the game. They could also end up in the Overwatch situation where the game falls flat because of the balancing act that they still struggle with balancing their characters. Valorant has a TON of interactions to think about when it comes to balance, it's not just guns and grenades, making it much more difficult to balance.

  11. It’s the same debate as weder or not CS will die to game xy
Numbers are higher than ever, cs is still performing decent on tournaments and valve is making lots and lots of money
No game will ditch CS at such a prime. Debate over.

  12. I think objectively speaking Valorant will become bigger in player base and in turn viewership. But I really disagree with all those saying it is/will be better. In my mind CSGO is far more competitive in every way and way better to watch as a competitive game than Valorant is. To me Valorant is just way too casual to take seriously as a professional game. Now don't get me wrong, recently I've been playing way more Valorant than CS, but I haven't once been able to get into watching a pro match and I've never once cared about it because in my mind it is just boring. The skill level is just so much lower that I can't bother to watch it (plus all the different abilities just make it a cluster fuck during pushes). But I've been glued to my screen for the ESL ONE Cologne tournament going on right now in CS. My opinion is that Valorant will have a much larger player base and viewership simply because it is easier to play so more people will play it, but it is in no way a better game and the more characters they add the less competitive it will get. CSGO will continue to be the pinnacle fps esport even if it has less players just because of the sheer fact that it is a much more competitive game.

Plus in my opinion the CS community is just way better. We're all a bunch of internet trolls and everything becomes a meme, but right now in Valorant the community seems really uptight and too professional acting, if that makes any sense. But that's a conversation for another time.

  13. Valorant officially released June 2nd… CS has been a franchise for 21 years and CSGO itself (3rd iteration) is 8 years old… All I'm saying is in time the marketing potential of Valorant will probably lead to bigger sponsorships. Which in return will lead to structured leagues, and world events, and players getting LoL type salaries and orgs getting much more ad revenue etc. Once Riot actually develops the game and it's esport scene I tend to side with draken. It's easy to market, appealing across a much larger demographic and it'll have tons and tons of new content for players to keep playing.

  14. Honestly it’ll kinda be sad if csgo falls to valorant because valorant has pretty lame maps and is feels super casual. The whole game overall, feels generic like it lacks character. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it got bigger simply because of how sponsorship friendly it is

  15. I predict cs will stay king in eu and SA, but in NA and Asia Valorant will be on top. The only thing I like about valorant is that it’s easy to learn, so all my friends who couldn’t learn cs, just leaned valorant, and now they can play cs with what they learned in Val

  16. The worst that can happen to valorant is what happened to overwatch. Creating too much and dumb heroes which create dumb metas and are not fun to play with. It will happen eventually.
