I'm a Brazilian and everything is different from our perspective… There are proofs that other teams used bugs and they didn't get any punishment… The problem isn't the camera placement or the tech pause. The problem were the way that it happened and that we are the only region to receive punishments for these things…

  11. @eggwick I'll be very honest I know what it's like to grow up in poor like situation, and to tell the truth it's actually NOT a good time if I'm being honest. It's a WHOLE COUNTRY for crap sake you can't do that, and to be honest that's kinda being racists I'm not saying it is but it's discrimination I just hope zombs doesn't let his ego get to him or he can get in BIG trouble. Well it's my opinion I don't care what others think of this comment. Just pointing out my perspective. And don't get me wrong drama is good, but not to that extent.

As a Brazilian I do have to say that fans over here tend to get extremely emotional over competitive games, not only esports, while also having a huge discrimination problem towards foreigners, unfortunately this aspect of our culture is kind of hard to change since we are so passionate about teams that represents us outside of Brazil (we are most of the time considered the underdogs) and when we eventualy win against a team that is considered to be one of the best we feel like the proudest dad at a baseball game when the kid hits a game winning homerun, now adressing the whole "making fun of us situation" in short, yes we can take a joke but only when it comes from someone we care like a friend or family, from total strangers it's a different ball game, as I've mentioned before we get extremely emotional and this cultural difference between the US and BR reignited a flame from CSGO era, so as much as we need to learn how to take a joke, NA also needs to keep quiet and not stir up any unnecessary hate

  15. Zombs passed the tone for trash talk and went straight to talk shit about an entire country and brag about money, both matters have nothing to do with skill. I don't agree on sending death threats to anyone, but the way he responded to it has hints of xenophobia when as a professional, he should have just ignored them and focused on champions

As a Brazilian i have some points to add, the hate we ade throwing on zombs goer back from the masters in iceland ( he said the a lot of shit back there), and now on this tournament he did it again. The problem is that on the fame of fúria vs sentinels riot paused the game for a long time accusing the Brazilian player of exploiting a bug to get on one of the boxes on ascent ( that is actually a skill jump, this happened right when the Brazilian team got a lot of momentum in the game), now add to this that when the other Brazilian team used the cypher cam that is said to be a bug for like 6 rounds in a row nobody paused the game or warned the player, they simply let it happen and them took 6 rounds out of the Brazilian team and gave to the other team. The problems were similar but they choose different courses of action, and surprise they were those more favorable to EU/NA teams. That is a bit unfair.

  21. As a Brazilian, I ask you to understand. On the Zombs player-driven death topics, 99.9% of them come from kids ages 10-14, who have probably never even used a weapon, let alone know how to use it, and threaten a player virtually. Adults like me, they know how to handle the situation, and they were just upset, and at best, they just showed their dissatisfaction with both VK and zombs. Second, many have said that we are toxic (I don't disagree with that), but those who curse and spread their hate for free represent ANY of us Brazilians (I would personally say that those who spread free hate on the internet are just boring nerd kids with nothing to do. ). What's more, ALL regions, without exception, have their pros and cons, they all have their nice people, at the same time they have their toxic people. Third, one thing that VERY FEW talk about, and what makes me angry is; prejudice against Brazilians on the internet as a whole. I've been using HLTV since 2017, and basically, I can't post anything praising a Brazilian player who is likely to have the following comments: 7-1 (as if I care for a football match, by the way, I'm not earning money from it, so who cares?), monkey, nigga, stupid Brazilian, washed up, and among several other comments. Less than 4 hours ago, I posted on HLTV that Godsent (Brazilian team) were performing in an excellent way, and was a team to possibly be feared in the future, and basically everyone started attacking me for no reason. How would you explain this to me?
