  1. you are very right mark, but remember how you used to be considered "the cartoon dude who hates everything"? how did we come from that to "the cartoon dude who doesn't hate everything" truly dark times are ahead of us

  2. I personally enjoy watching bad media, particularly bad animated media is because as an artist myself I find it useful and entertaining to watch something that is made poorly and study it. I think it’s valuable for any artist to indulge themselves in a bad piece of media and study what makes it so bad and why it didn’t work. Velma to me is the perfect example of that and I would personally recommend it to anyone as an example of bad writing.

These people act as if we don’t watch it then bad media won’t be made which simply isn’t true. Bad media will always be made, because there will always be incompetence in the industry. So if someone can take away something from it, then good for them

  3. I just wanted to see if maybe the show got better. But it didn’t, but it did solidify that this could’ve worked if the centered it around Freddy and shaggy (if same talent is involved) or more of an ensemble show because Mindy Khaling as Velma is just terrible especially as the main lead of the show

  4. I'll admit uh your video is thoughtful and it raises a good point but like- legit this show was always gonna have a second season hate watching increased viewership and all BUT honestly this show is legitimately not that great and they know that it's very obvious this was always the case and nobody ever tried besides the artists the show doesn't look as bad as people say it's just bad writing they took nostalgia and purposefully crushed it and hate-watching is something that'll never change no matter what and I don't want it to cause I love watching people make good critiques about shows no matter what they'll always say funny things or help me to realize what went wrong and keeps me informed and others to

plus isn't this exactly your channel? hate-watching? maybe you are kinda nice but your preaching a value you do all the time is that not the definition of hypocrisy?

  5. riddle me this batman, if you say we shouldn't give it attention because that's what they want, then why advertise this video with the show when it's not really about it?
it's just a trend, before the season finale it will quietly die

  6. I actually have been legit hate watching Velma and think it's bad, but I think you're right most people are band wagon jumping. The key to having a good time hate watching is having a hilarious friend with you to go all MST3K and media analysis with.

  7. probably the first video of yours that you sound entirely stupid in, no offense. Happens to the best of us. Velma was never popular "becase its popular". Are car crashes where people die popular or just a morbid fascination?

Have you ever watched your friend do something embarrassing but not stop them because watching them fail is simply entertaining? Do you feel guilt when a person who is legitimately retarded does something out of the norm that's funny?

No dude. People didn't watch velma "because its popular". They watched it because its akin to someone setting themselves on fire and walking out into the town square singing spice girls and occasionally bashing white people.
