I dont play this game anymore (used to play lots) and there is a character named "Xiao" he is another Lance class and his Japanese voice actor is "Matsuoka Yoshitsugu". aka Kirito from "Sword art Online". Very cool in my opinion

Dead?
This game constantly charting near the top, and the number of countries which they top just keep increasing. At their last update, they top the chart for 27 countries including China, US, Japan, Thailand etc.
While it is alive it lacks major content, especially when it comes to the end game. Actually the game is barely finished since there are only two out of 7 regions released until now. They try to keep their players busy with a lot of smaller events, but the sad truth is that it will take years for the game to reach the point where all promised regions are released and until then they will have lost a huge playerbase.
You really just jumped into the middle of it, I advise you to start from the very beginning opening cutscene. I started playing with version 1.1 that came out in November and even tho I had a chance to get Zhongli, as a f2p player I missed him, because I didn't had enough in-game "money" to pull for him. Yeah, you can obtain characters from gatcha system, now I have 6 5 star (rare) characters with the main character (which is also 5 star). Hope you will continue to learn more about this game through videos❤️

You cant exactly call a non pvp game paytowin. Game is not dead. Its just that most 🐳 are bitching coz they dont have anything to do coz they literally finished the game. I mean literally . Max constellation characters and max refined every damn weapon in the game as with artifacts they have max possible crit damage and max possible crit rate due to max refreshing resin everyday. So more or less they dont have anything to do coz everything is a breeze now.

It's really blown up. The best thing is that it's cross platform. It's won Google play award for best game 2020.
They've collected a ton of revenue in mere six months. This game is definitely not dead. Play it. You'll love it.
Imo this game is considerably alright for F2P players since you can also become very strong with 4 star characters with the right build. Artifacts (sort of like equipment) and team composition matters the most in this game. So it's more of a "pay to speed up process" instead of just a straight up pay to win kind of game since you'd still be utterly bad if you don't do any of the grinding and exploring. 5 star characters are more for flexing the rarity or for just playing as the character you like tbh. There's a pity system in the gacha aspect so you can guarantee yourself a 5 star if you plan your resources well.
i always like the character trailers for this game. however im personally n olonger playing it. the game has some issues and the company has even more issues where for some reason they dont seem to want to give people multi factor authorization so people are losing their accounts to hackers, yet they would rather shut down leaks that they failed to secure themselves by making them publically accessible

Although it does say spoiler, it really isn’t a big spoiler that can ruin your experience if you play Genshin and only a few hints here and there for the future regions and their storylines😁

Zhongli is the mortal form of the God known as Rex Lapis, This God governed Liyue for at least 3700 years, basically he founded Liyue and he is also known as the God of Contracts and God Of Geo (His element), he also goes under the name of Morax, the Mora (currency of the game) was named after him. Aaand he is the oldest of the seven gods who rules of the continent of Teyvat

Oh Daddy Zhongli is just 😍👌, also this game is huge, the graphics are pretty and the story quests very good, the thing is that when released, many ppl just rushed through the game, and well ran out of things to do very quickly, I play it since launch day and played casual, and never had that problem, the events are fun, and you get cool items, weapons or Primogems, some whine about not enough Primogems (the currency of the game, to summon characters or weapons) but I think this game is very generous, also the gameplay is very fun, the only negative part: the fan base… Not all of them are bad, but the ones Twitter makes me cringe to death 😅 edit: My English is so bad sorry!
