It is often combined with daub, which is a sticky material usually made of some combination of wet soil, clay, sand, animal dung and straw. Here’s a picture of daub, on top of wattle:

Several people have said you can scythe the rye/wheat in first town, but don't pick it up because its stealing.
Well, I scythed the field at night when noone was around and stole it without losing reputation.
Collected 445 rye before the scythe broke.
The important part is after I built my barn, I threshed the rye and got 890 crafting exp.
This bumped me to 1046 crafting and unlocked everything through Sewing II.
I bought onion seeds, manure and the bag the first day so I could plant onions immediately.
I harvested the onions the first day of summer.
It was a random yield, so I reloaded twice to see what happened.
I saw between 6 and 12 onions yield per field, I only planted three fields
Sometimes I got Seeds in addition to the onions, up to 4 per field
I don't know if the yield would have been higher if I waited to harvest on the last day.

Cabbage seeds and Beetroot seeds are in Denica town.
Cabbage is planted in Summer and harvested in Autumn.

This looks like it's based off "The Forest"….
You can use unstuck in main menu to go to starter town, pick Berry's for early gold in last building right side of town as you come in and buy flat bread for food on the go.
Does it use the same graphic engine as Forest game?
Sticks and stones will build new homes, but you still need reeds for thatching.
I'm a little bummed that you start off in a pre-existing village. I'd love to see a game like this, but where you have to build it all up from scratch. You start off just building yourself a few basic essentials, and maybe after encountering NPCs you can grow the area. Either encountering a trader or can pass word along of your new settlement, or rescuing some folks from wildlife or bandits and being able to recruit them to your place. Something like how you can recruit more people to a settlement in Fallout 4, but with the survival aspects involved as well.

Shovel for stumps and you can put that rabbit trap right next to your house, as it doesn't matter. Also, don't steal. There is zero notification that you were seen and it will mess up your ability to make coins from traders.

the Producer of this game Toplitz has a history of abandoning development on partly finished games. Meaning they will simply halt any further progress before the game reaches a 'released' state. So the question is, is this game playable as it is without further development?

With the rabbit traps…….. don't forget you can have several spread around in different areas so you then have more chance of catching rabbits
Because of it being in medieval times the only way to tell the time of day is by the position of the sun.
I believe the rabbit trap dropped to 62% due to damage the rabbit would have done to the trap trying to escape.
