Interesting take on something that seems to be largely socially conditioned in us. Makes a ton of sense, since I used to do this with books a lot; I used to read the last paragraph of a book when I'm halfway through and wonder about the rest of the journey there.
Just don't tell me what happens in Titanic or if Jesus lives through The Passion of the Christ. Still gotta watch those movies.
