Video Game Style Dance and Ballet Lesson for Kids!

My kids Love Love Love this video!!!! It took me ages to edit, not only because of all the graphics I needed to correctly time with the movements but also because they kept asking to watch parts of it as I edited it! My 9-year-old son was upset because he didn’t get to help out in the video and has asked if we can do another video game-style dance lesson – but I think the next one will be either a hip hop or maybe even a tap lesson, we will see!

In this lesson kids will learn all about plies, sautes and first position as we do stop and go style ballet walks, bend or plie to miss flying birds and saute or jump over wandering chickens! Watch as we get high scores and fill the energy bar!

We start with a warm-up and move into three separate movement tutorials and then play a memory movement game to consolidate learning from the lesson and finish with a cool down!
