Nice video, nerd! Tunnel snakes rule!
All this upscaling stuff is why I still keep a 27in Panasonic CRT that has component inputs, and stereo output in my game room with a component switch box.
Take my money MIke Chi. I already have and love the RetroTink mini but I'll be buying the 5x when I'm able to.
I've been waiting for one of these that can also handle VHS/SVHS without any issues. It looks like the Retro think 5x could handle even the worst tapes that refuse to track or have degraded in quality if it can lock on to a fast forward or rewind signal. I'm guessing that for VHS the 5x would be the best option available?
After so many videos I’m stunned that everything continues to feel so fresh and fun. You rock Joe!!!

What is the game at 19:22?
Ooh what’s the game at 16:40?? I’ve heard that song before….
Pretty good reviews of the unit. However, since I saw you had some A/V receivers in one shot, how does upscaling do on one's that have upscaling (like Yamaha or Denon), as having one unit that can do that AND handle all the sound and video for a home theater set up would be pretty handy (esp for older games & movies).
What game was being played at 8:30? it looks cool and I have never seen it before.
