  1. I've been waiting for one of these that can also handle VHS/SVHS without any issues. It looks like the Retro think 5x could handle even the worst tapes that refuse to track or have degraded in quality if it can lock on to a fast forward or rewind signal. I'm guessing that for VHS the 5x would be the best option available?

  2. Episode idea "best way to play light gun games at home" home release and arcade (could be 2 episodes)

*I've just got my game room started and can't afford a good upscaler. 5 years ago i picked up a sony PVM 1960 (from 1981)
    Composite only with no speakers.

I'm on a budget but man does that monitor make all the difference in the world. I can thank you and My Life In Gaming for showing me the way forward

  3. There are very few content creators that can make videos about things that are of no importance to me, and still get me to watch and enjoy. Joe and Game Sack are one of those few.

  4. Pretty good reviews of the unit. However, since I saw you had some A/V receivers in one shot, how does upscaling do on one's that have upscaling (like Yamaha or Denon), as having one unit that can do that AND handle all the sound and video for a home theater set up would be pretty handy (esp for older games & movies).
