HUMANKIND by Amplitude Studios is closer to release than it seems, and with OpenDev, we’ve had the opportunity to see the game in action through it’s development. Today we dive in to the latest build to see what makes HUMANKIND tick.

More of this please.
Well that was a tonne of fun! Will definitely look to pick up the pace next time – Wednesday 10am ET. Very excited to showcase the later eras and highlight more mechanics. This is… exciting. Very exciting. And remember, you can pre-order it here if you'd like to support the channel as you do – https://nexus.gg/PartyElite
I’m sure I saw some copper somewhere…. 👀
Loved this! Can't wait for the next one
Party: please don’t attack me!
Tribe B: nah we good *walks away
Party: yeah that’s right bitch
Stream starts at 2:44
Gameplay starts at 11:14
Looks like a great game – enjoyable stream – happy for the vod – obligatory [but genuine] thank you.
More, please. C':
Didn't see this live, but it was a great VOD to watch. I really like the Humankind content from this channel.
Hey, I have a question! Why should I play this instead of civilization?
I'm hooked to this game, spent the night trying new strategies in serious difficulty and had a ton of fun ! Cool VOD mate 😉
Great video. It had me all amped up to pre-order it for the lucy play. Sadly G2G requires a mobile phone number and I do not have one. Oh well, color me waiting until April 22.
Must resist urge to buy every game Party plays…..
Sometimes when watching VODs i feel like i'm on online lesson
Half an hour through I was like "I'm just keeping watching this to see how long it would take him to establish his first outpost".
It took 1:40:00
The conclusion is that the AI is trying its best not to get ahead of the player.
Btw Party, you can extract resources from the same region no matter their distance to the city, you don't need to build neither the cities nor outposts next to the resources to extract them
I can't say I'm hyped yet which I'm surprised by. There are a few things that really concern me but I hope the full game will convince me the game is worth full price.
The long term effect of decisions you overlooked is on your ideology – look at the icon on the top right of each choice.
Also, in the end another civ is not a whole era ahead, they just have one more era star.
The UI is still a little ways off (it doesn't look like text hierarchy has been implemented in a robust or consistent way and I'd like to know about UI scaling options), but overall, this continues to look promising. However, as always, I'd prefer to see this delayed another couple months if they need it rather than rush it out for an April release.
Love the look of this and the vids you've made so far. Will deffo keep an eye on this.
Btw, its granary, not greynary 😉
God damn Party – you took ages to select the culture even though you had made up your mind when the stream began! Can't you switch your culture throughout the different eras? Loved the stream! Looking forward for more.
"PartyElite murders young woman by denying her lifesaving Thoughts&Prayers!"
The game looks so awesome… i gotta have it at some point ^^ i have a hard time with the early access in general
Yes more please
watching you stare at the copper for minutes on end was both hilarious and frustrating, good vid tho
I feel like the kid that keeps yelling "you better stop" but instead of stopping i want you to make more content on this game
u cn always do outpost 1st be4 u pick an era
tat let u secure a territory
Best thing is that you can choose culture after knowing a bit about your suroundings. Really feel that is a big drawback with CIV.
This scratches a very satisfying AoE/Civ itch.
For tall the phoenician route is best I think. You focus on one city and the sea, which you use to explore and create outposts on islands to gather more resources and meet others to trade.
Multitask……play more as you talk
Error, Error, Error. Off.
Era = Eh'ra
Once the Endless Legend reference came through and that this is made by the same people it suddenly all made a lot more sense.
Also, side note, but I'm so sick of Sean Bean's voice in Civ lol
Gonna watch the humanskind series Now
Ep1 done✅✅
