Naheulbeuk started as a downloadable "radio show" in 2001 in French. You could download the mp3 telling the funny story of dungeon dwellers that are pretty useless and stupid.
Then they released songs, then comics and so on. The creator and his band tour all geeky convention in France and other French-speaking countries.

I will be picking this game up 100% ! I love the comedy along with a well thought out battle system.
I've read some steam reviews and was put off by the people complaining about unfair RNG. But from the video it seems fine (not that we've seen much combat yet). I wonder if it really goes beyond the XCOM 5% bs… But honestly, so far it looks really good. Looking forward to more of this !

Wow this takes me back. I was a huge fan of the MP3 saga, bought several of the band's song albums and comics.
This intro cutscene? That's pretty much how the MP3 saga started, with the narrator descriptions of the characters coming from the "trailer" MP3.
