  1. If you want a game literally like this, check out the studio’s other game vermitide, it’s based in the warhammer fantasy setting, but instead of poxwalkers and other nurgle stuff that’s hinted at it’s four hero’s taking on the skaven (human sized Rats)

Also, check out space marine as well, it’s a fantastic 3rd person shooter/action game that was originally released on PC,Xbox 360 and PS3.

  2. Fifteen hours was a fun read. I love the genius way that "Ork Snipers" work.
The Big dude is an Ogryn. The idea is that humanity has settled on so many varied worlds that you have all these different mutations & evolutionary off-shoots now (possibly there was some genetic manipulation too back in the day). Ogryns are an "abhuman" variant that has evolved on high gravity worlds. They are huge, strong, tough as hell but not very bright. Some abhuman breeds are viewed as tolerable where as others are considered mutants and are exterminated. Other Abhuman breeds include Squats (space Dwarves) and Ratlings (space Halflings!). There are numerous genetic quirks in the Imperium (Cadians have purple eyes, Catachans are so big and strong that they are nicknamed "baby ogryns" behind their backs etc.)

  3. Iv recently re-read the night lords trilogy with the new audiobook and it’s just a fantastic series and gives a good insight into the traitor space marines for someone new to the lore.

  4. Space Marine is a 3rd person shooter, looks it's age but the story is cool and I personally love smashing some Greenskins! Maybe play it and post you playing here. Good to have you back Brother!

  5. Space Marine Warhammer 40000 is an old but good game where you play as a space marine slaying orks. It suffers a bit from being an older game, so it's kinda railroady. But weapon and enemy variety is great.

And it feels really satisfying to smash trough hoards of orks.

  6. Vermintide is the warhammer fantasy version of what this game is. Left 4 Dead warhammer universes….although I heard they are trying to do a few new things with Darktide that'll set it apart.

  7. If you like shooters, Warhammer in general is starting to delve in the shooter genre, so don't try looking to deep. Try Vermintide 2. It plays like Left 4 Dead. If that isnt your style, try Space Marine.

  8. Lady is a priest but probably not a Redemtionist which is sad times to me. Dawn of War is a RTS (Real time strategy game) and most warhammer games are strategy. only one that isn't and is ok is Space Marine. Honestly not the best game if your not a 40k fan but good. There is also Deathwing and Fire Warrior but Deathwing is disappointing and Fire Warrior is horrible. Both FPS

  9. There's a super old FPS ps2 game i think might be available on steam called "firewarrior" where you play as a Tau warrior (a type of alien) fighting against the imperium, and it ends with a twist
