They should at least have collapsable lists based on unit type. So when you are looking for an HQ it only shows HQs etc.

Not a codex substitute, sure. References might be nice. … so like you just use it to see what models you go get to put on the side of the table then close the app? Seems like a bit of a time waster.
The issue i have is after the beta you will need to sub to the app to use the builder and it is worse than battlescribe in every way but you get oictures
If you build directly into the detachment you don't get all the imperium units but only the ones for you chosen faction/sub-faction.
The fact you need the codex just to view the stats in an app you're already paying for makes it a hard pass from me. If you're paying £40 a year or however much the app subscription is you shouldn't need to buy physical books just to unlock content.

atm a horde army with non standard weapon loadout will take around 2 hours to make
Why no mention of what phone you are testing? others have shown there are quite a few differences atm
It’s not even as good as BattleScribe. Not worth remaking all your lists.
It is worse than Battlescribe and it is not free…what are they thinking…?
