  1. Really unlucky there, Tom. But I don't think bikes would've been the solution. The Necron list was almost perfect for beating Custodes. Don't know if I would have done anything differently. It's a tough one, in hindsight you may be could've tried baiting the C'Tan with your dreadnoughts (big sacrifice, I know); lead him away & then use the rest of your forces to deal with his HQ's & infantry. But I don't know any player that would've thought to sacrifice their Telemon like that. All in all I don't think there was much you could've done.
Oh, the Necron player used CP rerolls on mortal wounds, which I'm pretty sure you can't do. It's only on wound rolls, not mortal wounds. But I don't think it made much difference.

  2. Should've saved my comment until I heard the post match discussion. I 100% disagree with what they're saying about bikes (unless they make the lances +2 strength); but they are dead on about marching the Allarus up the board & say, "bring it" (I'd say your whole army if there wasn't a C'tan). They are far more efficient than the bikes, especially with axes.

  3. Thanks guys. I’m still a fledgling 40k player. I started with blood angels but made the mistake of starting the Necrons from the Indomitus box and have fallen headfirst into that army. Great BatRep and I really appreciate your style and discussion. Learned a TON here!
