COnquest in USA good news for Usa hehehe
Conquest had a trial in the USA about 6 months ago. The cost of the first copy was 4.95 dollars I assume they did the first 4 in a limited area and then stopped. Nothing else was heard. The site is not much to go because it is a copy of the 2017 UK site and based in Denmark. Hattche magazines dont publish in the USA which is the prime reason they never got a release as they would need to setup printing, warehouse, shipping for all the states which is not simple. So it was always a question of if it would sell enough copies. To me it seems a bit odd they would just launch conquest given it is out of date. I do wonder if Imperium could be an updated conquest for the USA with rules more aligned with 9th edition ? Only I would be shocked if we are getting another conquest mag style in the UK so soon to be honest.
I'd say this is true. Some select local stores got a selection of the first 4 magazines a few months back. So I have a couple each of the DG pox walker and Plague Marines (#2 & #4) floating around.
While I'd rather have Imperium or Mortal Realms at this point, I won't ball at conquest. It's still a killer deal and will give me a good head start on a DG army whenever I get around to it.
I would love this. Always been a tad jealous as it would have been a nice bonus to hobby as to being locked inside. Would certainly still enjoy the back catalog, and would be just as pleased if the content was updated. I won't get my hopes up, but you never know.
If only…
I’d subscribe right away if they brought these to the US.
