  1. I normally like these vids as I like heqring the origins of the primarchs, but this one didn't do angron justice, as other creators that did a similar vid. You didnt get into the details of why he rebelled on the world he was found on and he didn't have the nails put in as soon as he was caught. And you didn't tell how it was kharn that got angron to accept his role as leader of his legion, which I feel is very important to his story. It shows his human side, and that he wasn't just a bloodthirster in a human-ish form.

  2. Prince! I'm surprised that you didn't mention that the World Eaters were originally called the War Hounds, but were renamed by Angron in honor of his gladiator army, which had been known as the "Eaters of Cities."

  3. So not only did the Emperor expect and encourage Angron to betray and abandon his men to save his own hide, but was actually surprised when he didn't, even after observing him lead and fight alongside these men for some time. And even though the Emperor and whatever Custodes and Astartes forces he had with him aboard his ship could have mopped the floor with the army attacking Angron's force, he decided to abduct Angron instead, knowing full well the psychological effect this would have on him. Wow… I'm kind of inclined to say the Emperor had it coming.

  4. To me Angron is one of my favorite primarchs, just because he is the personification of what is wrong with the emperor and the empire.
I still read the story about his "return" as a flaw in the emperors ways: He left the human factor out his considerations and made the return of one of his generals a pure logical exercise. To me Agron cared, as much as he was capable of, despite the butchers nails for the slaves fighting alongside him. By not only not helping the rebellion, but forcing Angron away the emperor showed, in my eyes, to Angron, that the nice talk about a futur for humanity was nothing but a nice talk, for the very person who talked did not care at all about humans. How can the greater picture be what is promised, if the preacher of this bright future already fails on such a small scale? I strongly credit the whole story around Angrons fall to the rotting corpse on a failing throne.

  5. Not sure if it's for effect, or changes to the system.
Omission of Nuceria, or the feud with the emperors children and slaanesh.
Haven't played in some time. But seem to remember my world eater forces were unable to ally with emperors children.
Only under chaos undivided leadership could both their units be included in a force structure.

  6. "I have heard it said that the Twelfth is beyond trust. This is ridiculous of course, a false claim made by those who mistake "trust" for "control". Within the bounds of their own misperception, they are correct. We cannot be collared, not before Angron, and certainly not after."
"To truly trust a thing is to understand its nature. Doing so is simple enough, just as one can trust fire to burn. In this regard, our Legion is the foremost of all in trustworthiness. Because across the length and breadth of this galaxy, no matter where you might find him, you can trust that a World Eater is doing but one of two things: he is either making war, or he is readying himself to do so."

Gahlan Surlak, Apothecary of the XIIth Legio Astartes.

  8. Poor Angron was created as a psyker with the ability to take the pain of others into himself. When the Nails were driven into his skull, they destroyed all psyker ability and he lost his soul. Read the Angron primarchs book.
