WARPING TOXIC ACID ACROSS THE GALAXY | #15 | Dyson Sphere Program | Lets Play/Guide/Walkthrough

DYSON SPHERE PROGRAM
Build the most efficient intergalactic factory in space simulation strategy
game Dyson Sphere Program! Harness the power of stars, collect resources, plan and design production lines and develop your interstellar factory from a small space workshop to a galaxy-wide industrial empire
Combining Factorio and Satisfactory on a Galactic scale!

ABOUT THE GAME
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure,
exploration and factory automation elements where you have to build your
own galactic industrial empire from scratch
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!

ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

KEY FEATURES
◇ Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
◇ Develop your very own Dyson Sphere, a megastructure that orbits
around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw
to its completion
◇ Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
◇ Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen,
gaseous planets…
◇ Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover
the secrets of the universe
◇ Build mechas to fly, sail or jump through outer space and alien planets
◇ Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of
transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
◇ Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
◇ Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
◇ Design a balanced power network, producing energy in all kinds of
power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars… through conveyor
belts, and you’ve got technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools
COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line

  1. Love the series and the commitment to pushing forward!
Only note for a term you might need- "interstellar travel" or "interstellar shipping" when referring to moving between solar systems. (Just think of the matthew mcconaughey movie if you forget!)

  2. you can take a selective amount with that "feature", you can bring out only 100 at a time and if you bring out more, just put em back lol i normally Shift+R click & hold the stack, and take like 100 into my invent when you need it, @Nilaus

  3. Very good news from the Developers!

They stated the following in the "Dyson Sphere Program FAQ #2" on Steam:
Q: Can the sorter be planned in advance (with a blueprint)?

A: That is not supported yet, but will be implemented further down the road.
So the most tedious work in DSP will be made easier to do. And maybe there will be a Blueprint-Feature… but they did not state if that encompasses only the sorters or whole factory layouts. Let's just hope for the best 🙂

The devs seem to be on the right track and with a year of early access still before us we can expect some fantastic improvements.

  4. What do you think about equatorial solar panel belting with interspersed wind turbines for >50% 24-hour power provision?
i.e.: A thick belt of solar panels between optimally spaced wind turbines going around the entire equator, 3 turbines wide, which provides 50% 24-hour coverage for the solar due to the equatorial location plus the wind. This leaves most of each hemisphere completely open for development rather than being constrained by a wide solar grid that limits the extent of each building cluster.

  5. Hi Nilaus you have an amazing series going as always. About the rare resources, you need to research an upgrade where it enables you to see all resources on every solar system. So you can click the system in map view and you will see all resources (including all the rare ones). I do every item with the upgraded recipes and you will notice that oil usage drops (and also a lot of other things). Just find one with those rare resources and make a simple outpost there (even if you need to use warp twice to get there your vessels don't). Just put some miners and an interstellar exchanger which you don't even need to power up and do not put anything in it no local drones no warpers no intergalactic ones, you just belt the resources in as usually the rarer resources have only one or two spawn points on the planet (at least it seems so). Power up the miners with wind turbines. You request the resource on one of your main planets (which need warpers of course) and you are golden 🙂 Did the same with sulfur – I just put down some water extractors powered with wind turbines and an unpowered interstellar exchanger belt the sulfur in and forget about it (like you do with the gas giant things that suck the gas giant atmosphere). Anyway I really love the game and it seems you do too, have fun man and as always "stay effective" 🙂

  6. You are lucky to have a planet full of fire ice next to you 😂so you don’t have to worry about graphene
After your current play through would you be interested to do a “challenge run” with a bad seed?

  7. I disagree with oil being rare, My starter planet has plenty and found a planet in another system that had an insane amount of oil nodes. Also oil is infinite you just have varying about of speeds on the nodes that it comes out. I also found a planet with decent sulpr ocean. Also been finding systems that have rare resources to use in alt recipes to shorten the production chains such as fire ice for graphine, the purple crystals for the Kasmir crystals etc

  8. finding organic crystals is quite easy not too far away either (for me anyway). If you have universe exploration 4 unlocked you can see resources in other systems making it super easy to find most of the rare items needed for alt recipes

  9. I love the upgrade with a "u" does belts, sorters, and assembly machines 🙂 I really do hope they add an element of economy, or biters, or multiplayer though, it would give it that little bit extra. I'm sure they're working it though.

  10. It would be nice to have circuits in this game. I don't like the way it handles utilizing multiple power systems as well. For those who haven't played Factorio these allowed you to set up conditions for anything. We could then say only run this backup power system if the main power system isn't cutting it.

  11. New subscriber here. I actually enjoy it more when you speed up as opposed to just snap-edit it. That way I can see how much work your are actually doing plugging in all those damn sorters. It's satisfying to watch, and it's fast enough that it doesn't get boring.

  12. "When in doubt, double it. So I quadroupled it." Love the size of your vision 😁

Also glad I chose to wait with warping. Seeing the "what did i forget? No matter, carrying an ILT" gameplay of yours has been inspiring. Warp to new system, then request everything needed. ❤

    Keep up the great work!

  13. There are planets with crude oil out there that provide like 10-20 times more crude oil. I spent hous of just visiting every system in my galaxy and found amazing ressource amounts out there.
With that said I forward the comment from "Electric_Bagpipes" and just say "thank you!" here.

  15. @Nilaus – If you have buildings or items in your "hand" that prevents you from interacting with another building like a chest or (I)LS, going into the planet view ("M") let's you click and interact with buildings near you, but prevents it from being placed. 🙂

  16. I’d love a feature in the game that allowed you to see a massive time lapse of either planets or the systems you’re at whenever you ‘complete’ the game or whenever you want.

  17. You absolutly have to play "Spot the mistake" every episode. Make one intentional mistake that you remember and fix after the recording. We, your loyal viewers, have to try to spot it. A kind of Where's Wally/Waldo game. Great interaction with your viewers, great interaction with the algorithm.

  18. "If in doubt, double it. If not in doubt, quadruple it." Logically then, if you are in a superposition of being in doubt and being not in doubt, you should octuple it.
