  1. I was laughing my ass off when Sony was releasing all those trailers of their new dual sense controllers trying so hard to make them look like the best thing since sliced bread, knowing full well that the joysticks were literally the exact same old crap every manufacturer has been using since the dawn of dual stick controllers. Using crappy little potentiometers saves you a lot of money in the long run but you might as well be using a mouse with a tracking ball instead of a laser.

  2. I've barely touched Anthem since I bought it, and now they are slapping us in the face saying they won't do anything to make it better. How the hell do I get a refund for this?

  3. EA did to Anthem largely to Battle for Neighborville too. Now BfN didn't do as well as the Garden Warfare games that did very well, for various reasons, but it was salvageable and we had posts of 'Repairville' for months and then suddenly and quietly, no new content and the team was moved around., although it is still playable, along with both GW games. It's not a great place to be as it's the first time since 2014 there's no new content or new known PvZ shooter in the works.

  4. "working at home during the pandemic has had an impact on our productivity" LMFAO! Because when they had all the resources in the offices before the pandemic their progress was stellar! Note to EA… you suck at making games.

  5. Minor mistake in the VtM news they aren't canceling preorders but not accepting new preorders so for now atleast those that did preorder are getting the money they paid back. It might seem like a minor difference but it is one that is important because if they cancelled all existing preorders i would say the game is as good as dead and probably gonna be binned in the not to distant future while not canceling but not asking new ones means its is dire straits but cancelling the project is on the board of options just yet.

I really hope they all get slammed hard by those lawsuits about drift. I mostly play on pc which means it affects me less but that is just scummy and i hope console players get treated better

  6. I noticed that if i don't watch these vids. I have no dramas and can enjoy the games i want to play without irrational fear or toxic hatred towards an IP that i actually love.
For example, Cyberpunk was a huge success (PC) for me.. i really enjoyed it, it was bug-free and i still play it regularly.

If you watch toxic content, you can't really get pissed off when you become a toxic person. Try it out, play your own game.. not someone elses 🙂

  8. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gamer, I'm just here for the gamer atmosphere
    Opinion incoming!!!
I don't really see any of these stories as all that bad for gaming. This is all "chickens coming home to roost" stories which is bad for us in the short term but ultimately for the best in the long hall as it means developers now have less ways they can under deliver gamers and get away with it. Under delivered products aren't going anywhere, but its good to see that path shrink a little.

  9. I've had a bad feeling about Bloodlines 2 ever since it was announced, and hte news only worsens. They try to spin it all positively, but let's just say, you don't fire your dev team cause they're doing an amazing job.

  10. Honestly, though I hesitate to ever buy an EA product, I would have rather had Anthem as a new IP than re-treading old ground.

Besides, Square Enix and People Can Fly just put out the free demo for Outriders, with the launched planned for March 31st/April 1st, and the demo alone putting on a pretty solid showing. Because of that, and with Square not being the type to really back down from an investment if they think they can make it work, I'd say EA/Bioware missed the adventure/looter-shooter train.

  11. The trimpots used in controllers being released this generation are the same as has been used in the previous generation. So if I haven't had a huge issue with drift up to now would that change going forward?
