Another discussion video for today! I wanted to talk about forgotten runes in the game, specifically why no one uses Prototype: Omnistone.

  1. @Vars , Ghost Poro has one characteristic that makes it very valuable that
almost nobody knows. It reacts to INVISIBLE champions. So if Evelyn
walks into the brush, the ghost poro is scared away.

  2. Gathering Storm is important for Artillery Mages like Xerath and Velkoz to oneshot the backline at lvl 9. Scorch is completely useless for them since poking out an assassin in the early game is pointless due to your lack of mana to finish them of. Waterwalking is equally suicide for Artillery mages.

  3. I'm so happy when I'm playing Qiyana and it's an ocean soul. You can get grass and water element in more places. My favorite thing is the fact that I can get water element at raptor spot.

  4. If omnistone gave you the choice between three random runes every minute or two it would make it more appealing to champions that only work with a few runes. The choices could still be three runes your champion sucks with but that’s less likely than getting one rune your champion sucks with

  5. Futures market is incredibly strong, nearly every jungler favors future market if they take inspiration due to the fact that you can get core items like whip/tiamat on recalls without enough gold, unless you want stopwatch/boots and the cdr rune. futures market is pretty much the go to. Also supports take futures market because their gold income is relatively low vs the rest of their team so it comes in handy there too

  6. What if omnistone was an item with 100 uses?

You chose all your runes, except if you pick the omnistone rune then you get to pick 4 keystones.
Using the omnistone item in game cycles the keystone you have, and you only get 100 cycles.

Selling the omnistone (as you would want to do late game for the item slot) would make your current keystone your permanent rune for the remainder of the game

  7. The old runes were so much fun compared to nowadays. Nowadays its literally same runes every game sometimes varying one to small runes that are absolutely necessary cs certain match ups

  8. I use prototype omnistone on full Tank Build Sion, its pretty good, when luck is on my side while chasing a low hp enemy i get Predator to catch up and cc him, or when im in a team fight and i get Dark Harvest or Hail of Blades, though other stuff is still welcome like Comet for poking enemies with my E, Grasp of The Undying is also good while in the laning phase. I suggest trying it out pretty fun ngl

  9. Why not make Omnistone a secondary rune that gives you a random second keystone with like half/a third effectiveness? You'd have to come up with a new Inspiration keystone but it means you could kind of have your cake and eat it too, a little randomness on a lower power budget but you still get to pick a more fitting keystone for your champion.

  10. Before they changed Predator it was better to run Omnistone than running Predator, as Omnistone allowed you to ignore the very long cooldown on Predator, and have predator available ~ once every minute, which was faster.
