  1. I don’t mind if they take their time, in fact, I’d rather them to develop it for years and launching a good game than rushing and selling a bad product, but pls, they could post something on Twitter, memes at least so I know it is still existing

  2. At this point, I just hope the game is good. Because if it turns out looking like a black flag copy after all of these years, it's going to be a huge disappointment for the few people who remember it exists.

  3. My dream for this game is basically this:

Realistic Sea of Theives meets GTA online.
I dont want a single player story, I dont want a character we have to play as, I want to create my own character and goof around with friends. Multiplayer story missions would be awesome, but I mostly just want a no strings attached multiplayer pirate romp around doing whatever I want.

  5. I sense since it is a ubisoft creation, they are trying desperately hard to to force the life of a pirate into the politically correct utopia ubisoft does with every game they make in this day and age. Without driving players away with their sjw shenanigans.

  6. We can only pray that they decided to turn SKULL & BONES into a top notched, fully polished version of Blackwake instead of what they pre-viewed to us. I say this mainly because I can't see the previous AC Black Flag ship combat system being turned into a great multiplayer team battle experience.

  7. Its videos like this that cause publishers/devs to force games out before they are ready. When content creators and influencers constantly inundate the masses with "what happened to game xyz" or "has this game been cancelled" or incessant pissing and moaning all because games have been delayed. Said games then get hit with a steadily flowing barrage of negative PR all because they either havent announced an update on the development process, because there have been several delays, or both. That repeated and continuous negative PR then translates to reduced sales. So, in an effort to get a head of that issue, they force the games out before they are ready in order to capture the "unspoiled" sales numbers.

I am not giving publishers and devs a pass on releasing unfinished products – that is still a decision THEY make and its a practice they should do away with whenever possible. However, if it were not for the constant pounding of negative PR from content creators like this, the games would just come out whenever the fuck they are ready.

Remember the days when the only updates you got about video game development were from the monthly issue of GameInformer? People need to take a fuckin chill pill. No you will not always know whats going on with a game's development, no you will not know when it's releasing until it is actually released. Get over it, not a big deal to have to wait a bit longer for a game. And hell, who knows….maybe they are actually trying to release a finished game? Maybe thats why it isnt out yet?

Its hilarious really, the community will scream at the top of its lungs for devs to stop releasing games before they are ready. So, then devs delay games to further develop and improve said games. Then the community screams like a spoiled baby about having to wait longer to play it.
