  1. I’ve always said that Halo Infinite is going to be Open World multiplayer but everyone seems to think it’s going to be a Battle Royale. Maybe both🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. I really hope they add cool Spartan NPCs to the campaign. I want to fight alongside Spartans just like in Halo 4 but I want them to have more personality (visually, a lot of the Spartans had interesting dialogue).

  3. you're assuming infinite will be good at all…look at how cyberpunk and cold war released…my guess is infinite won't be that great and after a few months people will go back to mcc. Sbmm, bugs, and story is what I am worried about and I don't think infinite will be good just because they don't make games like they used to. Companies don't put effort into their games anymore which is why people will go back to MCC.

  4. Mod Tools will be releasing this year, and they're going to have custom edition levels of modding capability according to some of the higher ups in the halo modding scene. This will give the game unprecedented longevity for a very long time. Custom edition modding across all the titles will be what keeps MCC alive

  5. 10 seasons!? Aren't a lot of not so obvious features needing updated!? As for mod support, I want SvE game type for each forge title to be built into MCC or the file share at least. HaloReach H2A 3 & 4

  6. Halo MCC will always be around because it is orginal Halo, and besides when does 343i ever make a good Halo game. seeing the bulldog and side kick instead of familiar Halo stuff makes me feel theres more than those 2 that are flawed about the game, and ppl the game will be popular for a few months before people run back to Halo MCC the orginal Halo, just like what happened to Halo 5.

  7. Halo had a few things that made it stand out:
    1. Amazing campaign experiences that can be done cooperatively.
    2. Amazing multiplayer experiences, competitively and casually.
    3. Bringing social experiences in multiplayer to a new high.

In order to be the king of shooters that deep down it is, it is needs to deliver on these three things. We need to start seeing flaming-helmet devs in the games again. We need to have community features pair with console features that make people wants to talk in the lobbies.

We need custom game browsers w/ lobby chat.

New maps, new guns, new features, new campaign levels and story – these are all reasons to start Halo – and many, many will – but what buys our time historically? These three points.

Halo 1 – System linking made local-game store and in house play amazing. Shoulder-to shoulder with up to 16 people. it got crazy.
Halo 2 – Online lobby chat and leaving recorded Voice messages BOOMED. Pushed things to new heights. Custom games were more fun because everyone was in chat together. Multiplayer was volatile and always a new experience. You never knew who was going to show up and what they would say. Glitches too were a big part – the mystery of how did that guy get out side the map?
Halo 3 had legends. The legends of the flame helmets. The rumors of recon, the ninja sword – the secret skulls. It creates these myths and legends that brought people together. It also had forge, which pushed multiplayer creativity to a new high. We could build together. play together. and find new secrets together.

    Reach felt more feature based.
    Halo 4 was feature based.
Halo 5 was feature based. Great games – but did how we play together change much? Not really. Great experiences but it has to reach a new high socially to be it's best. Content isn't king. How you digest content is king – and socially always wins. Its why fortnite is so popular – they get it.

  8. The only thing that worries me about infinite Is how the open world will work if it isnt level based. And thats not towards the game itself, its me not completing the main story… Because i have a tendency to not do that in open world games.

  9. I quit playing mcc because players (tryhards) quit almost every match because they are losing. This is social too. Its not fun doing 3v4 or 4v1. So i tried FFA but it takes too long to find matches. So i uninstalled mcc. Shame.
