  1. "It will mess up so many things" continues to name nothing. "this is what the game would look like" wrong. Because i dont tap strafe and im able to move and slide corners and shit so no. Ill say it like i've said it a hundred times. M&K has more accuracy therefore Controller gets aim assist. M&K has tap strafing and controller has…..nothing. Comparing Aim assist and tap strafing is legit the worst argument. Its basically saying our one helpful thing is better than your two helpful things….its just dumb.

  2. i dont mind tapstrafe and im nowhere near lous skill or knowlege, but simply removing possibility of bind on mouse wheel could destroy tapstafe and it does not break any basic movement and they can do whatever they want to theyr game…

  3. It's basically an exploit at this point controller can't do it when they fixed octanes jump pad you can't strafe at all on controller it's literally only mnk that can do it also stop mixing console controller with pc controller it's not the same thing

  4. Controller players can do a lot of the shit PC can. What's his name.. Extesyy? If that how you spell it. Look him up and then come complain that controller cant keep up. On top of close quarters aim assist. There's a problem when you can call out getting controlled. Prove me wrong.

  5. I agree and disagree. Removing tab-strafing would change almost literally nothing about the game, because as he said, it is a redirection of momentum. He doesn't explain that it is done by tricking the game engine into thinking you are at max momentum in a different direction than where you gained that momentum. Removing this spamming of a secondary forward input would not collapse the game movement entirely, all it. This kind of argument is known as the "trust me bro, I'm a pro" which, don't get me wrong, has some merit – but also is not entirely credible. Bunny hopping is spamming jump and movement inputs, wall-bouncing is taking advantage of the rebound and spamming jump input.

    What he probably meant to say was if you start removing skill-level movement techniques, eventually you have to keep removing them until the movement in the game is so basic and boring, no one wants to play it. It is a good argument against removing it, because that is true: remove tab-strafing and next wall-bouncing becomes meta, and everyone wants to remove that – remove that, then everyone is mad about punch-boosting or bunny hopping.

    Tab-strafing is unfair to low-level or casual players. A single player skilled in movement can completely wipe a team just by running away at full momentum the entire time, and the little billy squad sliding behind them can't really keep up. The higher in ranks you go, the more common you see movement techniques.

    Still, it is abusing the game engine in a way that is not intended, but it is not the same as changing the engine like caustic speed glitch, or rampage glitch.

    Think of Fortnite: double edit binds, double movement bind, spamming and editing and taking builds- that is all definitely not an "intended function" but a core part of the game now. If they took it away, it would make the skill-level lower, give low level players a chance, and kind of ruin the game for people that bothered to play it enough to get good.

    Aim-assist on PC is a bit weird, considering how much you can tweak those settings to the point where you feel the "pull" of aim-assist if someone is even near you. Controller players have an advantage undoubtedly, claiming they don't is just ridiculous, but mnk have the advantage of movement. Watching a pro-controller player compared to a pro-mnk player, you can see the advantage in long-range fights and movement, even moving while looting – and the advantages of close range fights with controller, 0-200 someone without even really bothering to aim.

    A casual controller player could rinse a casual mnk player, but the higher up in rank and skill you go, the more you'll be at a disadvantage. The top tier controller players absolutely slay, but the top mnk players are beasts in every aspect of the game. Both grinded to get there, so it's hard to argue for or against either. Removing tab-strafing wouldn't be that big of a deal, but keeping it isn't either.

  6. If Apex removed tap strafe the same thing that happened to H1Z1 would happen. Daybreak started tweaking movement due to player feedback and eventually broke so much they had to fully revamp most core movements and mechanics which caused all pros to leave eventually leading to the death of it.
