  1. At least when it comes to the Engine, according to linkedin profile leaks they've massively overhauled the engine that includes building a custom animation system from scratch, adding stuff like Predictive Foot IK something that they showed in the Unreal Engine 5 showcase

  2. Hi Dan,
You should check out lexys legendary dragonborn modding guide. 800+ mods and a beautifully crafted and easy guide to go along with. Would love to watch you mod Skyrim once again.

  3. I would like it to be more of an actual role playing experience rather than a be anything and everything superhero. Of course I know this won't actually come to pass, because Bethesda will want to appeal to as many people as possible with their products.

  4. I hope the world and its inhabitants exists for the sake of the world and not for the sake of the player.
Not sure exactly how and maybe it has become an integral part of the gameplay, but I would like to see an alternative to pausing mid combat to eat 50 cheese wheels.
The point about changing up loot through crafting recipes and potentially helpful npcs is also something I can get behind.

  5. It would be cool to rewatch your original Fallout 4 run (even if the game isn't the best), but unfortunately can't find it anywhere. Anyway, hope you have a great day πŸ™‚

  6. I would love to see them make companions in the game more "alive". I mean that they would be more helpful, you would not have to babysit them and actually have a purpose and their own agendas.

  7. I don't think turning TES into Rust is a good idea. Besides, imagine all the resource gathering required to build a house, then multiple it by 10 or something. And that's just a tiny village.
They should bting back attributes, modernise combat and AI, and ffs make cities bigger. I'm talking the size of 2-3 Imperial City. And obviously don't just stick houses and insignificant NPSs, fill the cities with guilds, quests, traders and all kind of stuff. After all Elder Scrolls games are beloved for their worlds that you want to dive in again and again.

  8. Like you said, I'd like to be able to build at least one city, optional of course. Something like Sim Settlements for Elder Scrolls would be really cool, except for just one or two big cities.

Also would like to see bigger cities and more people, just bigger in general. Previous games have felt too small and unpopulated for me. I don't want any more of the "lore is bigger than the game world" excuses. Also Skyrim was apparently supposed to have some sort of an economy system, but was scrapped. I'd like to see that.

There were some great mods that made combat feel better for me. Locational damage (headshots, limbs), dismemberment (like Fallout), magic damage effects (burns, freezing, shock). I'd especially love to see locational damage in the base game, it'll make you actively think about where to hit an enemy, instead of just swinging your sword around for 10 minutes or something. Not too complex like Mordhau, but not too simple like Skyrim.

Graphical fidelity is a plus, and they're already working on that, so we'll see what Starfield looks like.

Also Emil's arenas that keep getting cut.

  9. Not just lots of enemies at a time but also giant enemies that need to be fought Shadow of the Colossus style and maybe they can be approached at any time similar to Big Daddies in Bioshock
I think that type of big and difficult enemy would be a cool and interesting step up and shake up from dragons

  10. I really like this kind of videos. Instead of building towns or campaments i would like them to focus more on rpg aspects like skills, crafting and a world where your decisions and actions have real consequences

  11. I absolutely love these Danchats. I never really got crazy into Skyrim, just a little too clunky for me but if it had the same city rebuilding ideas as FO 4/76 I think I'd love that. I liked the system in FO4 but I loooved the blueprints and stuff from 76

  12. One big thing TES is currently missing for me are actual RPG elements. What you mentioned is very good but what if I want to play a character who doesn't want to settle and rule? I want to have choices, be it branching dialogue or quests. I want the world to react to my choices. Skyrim had none of that and those things are a must have in an RPG.
