About FNF
Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple “weeks”, each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player’s bar, while missing notes causes the opponent’s bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent’s bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player’s high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

I think you’re right about the demon part. More or less he loves the gang it like Deadpool. Deadpool is considered an antihero. Maybe Scooby Doo is like that. And r u explain the sonic personality mod.

But the scooby from Mystery Inc we see that they split from the timeline. Perhaps in one of those timelines Scooby got split into two. The mystery inc timeline and the evil one. Bam now we just need a climactic Good scoob vs Evil scoob from Avacado.

Well I mean no because not for free will because he had an good time with his friends but if they figured out about his power and stuff they would abandon him so he had to rebuild again and again
I wouldn’t say that this version of Scooby loves the team but more or less shows some from of emotions or empathy to the team of teens that we are know. But this is just a theory so I could be totally.

He seems more like something more along the lines of cosmic horror. Lovecraftian even. The team questioning his existence, showing curiosity into learning about him would be very, VERY dangerous for them and not just for their sanity. So he destroys and remakes them as best he can. He does love them, but it's a love from a creature that understands us as poorly as we understand him, or it. To this creature, trying to recapture the time when both he and they were happiest may be the ultimate expression of love to him, and his despair at his failures is genuine because he just wants them to be what they once were. Happy, and his family.
I believe Scooby-Doo is an eldrich god like the great old ones from H.P. Lovecraft.
