I get the question alot on my livestream so I hope this helps and hopefully it was a bit informative. For f2p I think the best would be the alley hunter, especially if u can get a zhong li shield on her.
The Alley Hunter…. I've never heard of that weapon. How do u get it?
If any whales are reading this: Ganyu C6 makes her E proc a no-charge Frostbloom on her next auto. She is a p2win monster at c6 if you go with sacrificial bow :V
– You seems to forgot the whole C rate increase passives you can get from resonance and Cryo artifact set. She doesn't need C rate secondary stat from weapon at all if you team her up with 1 more Cryo user and 1 Hydro user to get Frozen effect which will further increase her C rate if you give her 4 set of Cryo artifact. She only needs some C rate substat and you can go HAM with C dmg. I even consider Sharpshooter's Oath might also be a good choice bc of high C dmg stat, even tho it's 3 star weapon.
– I don't think Compound bow is that good for her bc of physical dmg is secondary stat bc most of dmg she deal are Cryo anyway.
9:20 just want to point out that Crit Damage is the BEST substat you can have on a bow user since attacks hit on weak spots always deal critical damage sooooo… Just my two cents as a bow main. Cheers!
amos bow is good for dps ganyu but idk about support dps, i'd like to use ganyu as a support dps that uses her E and Q skills to proc melt combos so that i can use other pyro characters for main dps (klee, hu tao or xiangling)
yeah amos bow feels like it was made spefically for her. it even has a qilin motif.
ill be using skyward harp since i randomed it

Charged shots on weakpoints always crit right? So maybe blackcliff is best for her after the 5star bows
For me, I personally think that Ganyu is meant to spam her Frostflake arrows. Her skills are rather just for additional damage and for the taunt. You don't really need alot of crit rate for Ganyu unless if you really want her skills to deal crits. If you are a bow user I personally think that you don't need much alot of crit rate because of the weak point mechanics. Bow users should always take this mechanic to their advantage since it will always be a guaranteed crit.
Lv 80 crit rate Ganyu:
Base 5% crit
•+15% If u have other cryo in your team
•+20% crit with charged attack (passive)
•+20% + 20% with the New artifacts
•+40% in yours secundary stats
And ready u have 120% crit rate or 100% if u dont have a hydro character
can i use ganyu for support? bcs all of my 5 stars are DPS:(

Dreams of dragonfell is actually pretty good since Diona is already a good choice to run with Ganyu for the cryo resonance and shields to prevent staggering while aiming.

I have Amos bow I don't have any use for it
If you build her for charged attack blackclif and the craft able will be great 4* hitting weak spots isn't hard on pc and consoles at least. As long as you got those you will crit and don't need any crit rate at all so crit DMG and changed atk is sweet

Umm I think u don't know about the new cryo set. Ganyu doesn't need crit rate at all. Blackcliff warbow which is currently at starglitter shop is best 4 star for her because of the crit damage stat
I am almost 100% sure that the alley hunter is not a weapon that currently exists in genshin impact
