We finally ended up hitting apex predator rank in apex legends ranked arena game mode. There was definitely a lot of grinding involved in this process as the AP lowers every time you progress up into diamond or higher. I don’t have the patience for ranked arena I tried to get masters in arena ranked last season worst experience of apex in my life I might attempt it next split

My biggest issue in ranked arenas is when teammates would immediately give up all the good ground and fall back to some corner of the map with next to nothing to play off of and just sit there. Typically I would be moving up from the start to meet the enemies in the middle and try to get some opening damage or even a knock and find myself alone 75% of the time.
It's not that I even need the teammates to be doing anything in particular other than keeping the focus of ALL 3 enemy players off of me while I'm putting in work. Many times I would somehow put down the whole squad practically by myself in round 1 and 2. Then the enemies realize I'm the problem and that my teammates aren't really around so they just ape you and things start going downhill fast…
Do you actually get a pred badge like you would in br?
I don’t care if you grab a rampage at the first round I’m gonna tbag you and your whole team every time I win cuz it’s so frustrating when the arenas ranked games just turn into a rampage violation between the two teams

The crazy part (not being cocky) arena is soo easy just by the first round if u win 7 times out of 10 u win but it’s just ur teammates ggs 😔🤟🏻

I normally get lvl 50-100 in plat 1 or d4 lobbies (Im lvl 420 rn) and it takes a tool on my brain
As a Lifeline in arenas I always make sure to go for the bin since I can get the extra shield cells 🙂

I'm in gold, always get me a D3 up teammates, often old seasons preds, and yet I couldn't que up with them if they where on my friend list, it's actually stupid and I apologize for costing them AP, bit most of the time I just get free wins lol
The whole "not being able to trust your teammates", has this always been a thing or is it something that has been happening only fairly recently? Anyone have past experience?
Also how do you get bad teammates in diamond or even masters? How would someone even get to that point and not actually be good at the game??? I'm so confused!

I solo que in Arena Ranked – Plat 2. Several times I get teammates lvl 23 – 24, several times I get bronze/silver teammates, not to mention my WINS are PLUS 12 and my LOSSES are -12 to -17….. It's crazy

Sweat… I can't stress enough how awesome you are man, I mean I really I play much arena from time to time, and the solo teammates here on PS4 version are ridiculous and makes you wanna rage much more than the Tbagging Diamond+ opponents. Actually the fact that I keep getting people around account level 30 and 70 just makes you wanna cry lol, rather than sometimes you get only 1 teammate (might be a Crypto too) even though I played a match alone against 3 and got Tbagged and all, and note that I'm only talking about ranked arena not anything else for now.
But yeah as you said, even if you are the damage leader on board and things went wrong for whatever reason like a teammate of yours is rushing to supply bin to loot everything fast before to show off his looting skills echo or whatever, or a lifeline not sticking to your team, or a rusher teammate that goes directly into the opponent's face and get ganked in the first 15 seconds of the match and eliminated, THE PROBLEM here will be the fact that your damage won't help you if you lost the overall match. You just get negative AP which is kinda makes your efforts goes like nothing…

i don’t think i’ll ever play ranked arenas again for the simple fact ap system and sbmm makes every win i get feel unrewarding but im grateful to it bc its made me a better ranked br player bc i win more gun fights after experimenting with every weapon now im a diamond in br for the first time in the 5 months i’ve played this game
Yeah that +12 is exactly why I don’t trying arenas past plat. It’s just not worth it at that point
Any tips as far as aiming? My aim is pretty bad at times and it gets discouraging
8:00 "Tell the person that is getting knocked to stop it" Well look at it this way, they are playing above their skill level, biggest ego of all time and dosent communicate at all.
The sad truth about this is when he talks about doing everything right and still losing that's me every game. I be coming out with 3k 4k once or twice a 5k and sit there like…wow wtf just happen
