  1. Selling stuff so that you can earn money enough to feel kitted out and feel safe? LOOL Geekseh, when do you EVER feel safe in Tarkov?

Jokes aside, I feel the one piece of advice worth giving to new players is this: SURVIVE . All deaths are a net loss, so if you need money, grab as much as you can and then GET OUT . Don't get distracted by gunshots in the distance and whatnot. Have a goal or set a route at the beginning of the raid, and stick to it, and I'm sure you'll do ok.

    Happy Raiding 😀

  2. Amazing video man I started taking the concept of sell anything found in raid now and worry about tasks later. Shared that with the rest of my friends playing the game and now we are having more fun then we ever had this wipe. Keep up the good work! See you in Tarkov!

  3. 100%. Hoarding things take an experienced touch. Knowing how many, weighing the pros and cons of how rare something is vs when you need it. Knowing what you get from quest rewards that you can use FIR etc. Good content

  4. @GeeksEh – Thanks a bunch for taking the time to make this for us. I am a little confused about something. Where you went over how you end up with the "Found In Raid" designation, you said
(paraphrasing) you need to have gotten at least 200XP or been in Raid for 7 minutes. Couple questions: If I get 200XP, do I then still need to be in Raid 7 minutes, or can I extract at that point? Also, if I bring a Not Found In Raid item into Raid with me (i.e. can of Tushanka), and get 200 XP or wait in Raid for 7 minutes, will it switch to Found In Raid when I extract? Again Broski, thanks 110% for sharing your knowledge, and I'll see you on Twitch. -Moonshine_Cricketpants

  5. This was a really great video, and not just for newbs. I been playing since a bit before the first drops event a few years ago and I STILL have trouble with what items I need to be saving and what I can get rid of.

    There is just SO MUCH

  6. Sorry Geeks. I disagree. If you find a LedX in raid do not sell it. That item is essentially the holy grail in Tarkov cause when you use it for a quest you will get a thicc items case – the best most over powered item in the game. It’s a 1 slot and you’re telling people to sell it? How about all the garbage that sits in peoples stash’s not on this list? Sell that first if you need space or need money. Especially for the newer players. The mil is not enough. You spend something like 50 mil in the hideout and it’s not even complete. So 1 mil is a drop of water in the ocean. Get over the gear fear and just have fun but if you are new and somehow get a found in raid ledx … I’d just say start grinding to make sure you can get the quest eventually before the wipe. I have played for almost 2 years now and I think I crafted all of mine. When I got Kappa I crafted it and spent double what the ledx was worth at the time for the found in raid status. Great vid overall. I like the take on it, and I’m sure you’ll call me a knuckleheads or disagreeing but I call it as I see it – you keep the ledx 100% unless you legit will not quest that far. I will, most will, and don’t sell it and underestimate how far you’ll get. It’s going to be a long wipe – more people will get this thicc case if they don’t sell their only ledx.

  8. You are totally right. Before my first wipe I was hording anything and barely playing in raid. Now I realize its all temporary and I want to just be in raid as much as possible advancing my character until the next wipe.

  9. There are so many people in tarkov that get mad at others since they don't play the same way they would people just need to chill keep enough space to not keep playing stash tetris every raid and enough liquid cash to get decent equipment for their level

  10. Ok… Geeks, buddy, bubby…

I have to push back against this one bud. The best thing people can do is buy a Scav junkbox as soon as they get a million. Then start stashing everything they have that's found in raid. Sell guns, gear, etc for the money, run the Scav, sell Scav kit, buy a second box, rise repeat.

I got a real late start this wipe, I just hit Level 15 but I've nearly got everything I need to hand in for quests already and I had four junkboxes at level ten.

Hoarding FIR stuff for quests is good. Hoarding weapons and armor is bad.

  11. Hey man, awesome video and I am a new player I just started 2 weeks ago, as a new player looking for information, personally I don’t really care about the quests, I am doing them for sure but like you said I am just more worried about playing the game, what I am wanting too know more about is what items are good too keep for bardering , I am level 8 and I don’t have flee, too complete gunsmith level 1 quest I have too turn in that mp133 with the correct stats, well I needed an HDD to trade for the rail attachment I needed, if you make another video about this, could you maybe cover this?

  12. Im new and was hoarding everything. Ive only made it out of like 2 out of 13 pmcs raids, usually make it out of scav raids, and even I was getting too much stuff for my stash, and that's with being pretty low survival rate.

I just started selling most things. I have a med backpack and mag backpack and a backpack to keep items I know I need right now, like hideout upgrades. Then I have my handful of guns I've picked up but I was getting tired of playing 15 min of tetris everytime i actually made it out alive.

But I still haven't even finished my first 2 quests (prapor and therapists). I have 1 MP133. Found a 2nd one, but i died before I got out. I also found 3 Salewyas in 1 raid, put 2 in my pouch, then died so I lose the 3rd.

Also, Im not sure if putting them in pouch makes it where I can't turn them in or not, but i guess ill find out whenever i find my 3rd lol

EDIT: I did sell a cat statue and horse statue. Ive seen the horse a couple times on Customs so I figured it must not be that hard. and the cat statue is kind of big so I just got tired of moving it around. Then again, I still haven't hit lvl 5 so I figure I wont even be close enough on level or quests to need most stuff this wipe, so I finally quit worrying about being the most efficient and all that. Being OCD about alot of stuff like that usually ends up keeping me from completing games, especially open world RPGs, and I didn't want that to happen to me in this game. So I figured I'd just worry about learning maps and getting good at shooting and routes before I worried about min/maxing my items and planning ahead to quests I may never even get to anyway

  13. Thank you for this Video. This is exactly me situation. I get frustratet over my stash with only a few empty slots. It´s even paralysing me to go into raids, because i can´t put the loot anywhere!

  14. my problem is i dont know what to keep over other things mid raid. my backpack gets filled after a few minutes of looting but when i watch others play they leave a lot of stuff..i wish i knew what item to prioritize mid raid early on in my tarkov journey

  15. wow, was about to buy the game but after seeing that there was a need to make a video expressing to play the actual game instead of playing loot tetris….. completely thrown off

  16. Thank you for this. Just started playing this wipe and I spent my first 10 levels hoarding absolutely everything I could find! Just sold a little over 1.2 mil (a lot for me at this point) in random items I didn’t need at the moment. Main goal rn is learning how to survive raids and build up a few solid kits to use down the road when I have more experience

  17. Thank you for the video, as a new player what I did was also write down on a piece of paper every Item that I need for the first hideout upgrade.
A sparkplug, soap, matches, cricket liters etc… And I mean the basic upgrades. It gives me a goal, and even if I have those in my Alpha I can still use them to something, so if I die I feel like I had a progress. Most of the items are one slot only.

  18. Bought the game this past weekend only lvl 8 and found 2 car batteries, a gpu, and a 2020 twitch rivals armband the saddest part was when I didn't know what to do with the armband and sold it many people have been disappointed in me but being new it seemed unimportant and 30-40k was a lot for me so I see no harm honestly but i feel I've been lucky
