  1. My dude, let me help you. Step 1) wait until Tuesday the 10th when the zombie invasion starts. Step 2) do the Zombie quest chain ending in Icecrown. Step 3) do the quests there to unlock dailies. Step 4) Do dailies and grind mobs for the currency to buy item level 100 gear. Step 5) buy item level 100 gear. Profit.

  2. Indeed Mythics are, by far, the most efficient way to geat up quick and easy. The counter to this is actualy getting groups depending on your class/spec and you ilvl. It was kind of easy for my holy priest and my dk tank but for my mage or lock it takes longer to get groups.

  3. Once you've done the full legendary cloak questline once it becomes significantly shorter (with significantly less Magni) b/c you can start skipping the instanced portions. Despite this, I can't bring myself to do it any more than I already have (4x).
People should also note that while the anniversary event is live, there are old world raid bosses w/ daily lockouts that drop decently high ilvl gear (85 iirc).
Finally, while learning your class and becoming comfortable with your spec in M+ is a great suggestion, with the Icecrown event starting in 2 days, it would almost be better to wait until then where you can quickly farm a full set of ilvl 100 vendor gear with some boss pieces mixed in. Then you'll have a decent ilvl to jump into M+ with and wont feel like you're being carried the whole time, which is infinitely more fun.

  4. As a returning player the fact that I can't fly at the end of the expac fucking passes me off, I don't want to complete a stupid-ass achievement when it's a less than a month until SL launches

  5. i agree with most you said, however you should ABSOLUTELY do the quest chain for the legendary cloak, even if it takes you forever. first of all, other than the legendary cloak, the best you can obtain currently is an ilvl 81 cloak from world quests. also, if you invest the time to play some visions, a lvl15 cloak wont be replaced by any levling gear in all of shadowlands as it is just so much better. before you reach lvl60, you will be wearing your legendary cloak! (and honestly, the 14 vision runs for your cloak can be done in very little time nowadays as they dont require any mask to be present)

  6. I just came back 2 days ago and have added freshly lvled paladin and dk to eternal palac priest and BoD monk, i am banking everyhing on prepatch event, if it turns out to be to time consuming to farm on all chars, i will just bite the bullet for those first few SL lvls

  7. Made a brand new DK recently. Got to ilvl 115 in a couple of weeks I got the legendary cloak and did the necessary azerite quests. Other than that, it was straight 2v2 and 3v3 arenas. PvP rewards are definitely underestimated – they can at least give you a solid start before you start tackling M+.

  9. I actually really appreciate the fact that you didn't make a clickbait thumbnail like all the rest. Seeing reaction faces in thumbnails is like having actual nails being hammered into my thumbs.

Bruh, ive never played this game so the first thing i did was to follow guides on YouTube, they said to get the cloak inmediately after lvl 50 and i JUST finished the entire quest line of the black Prince, it took me like 8 hours, literally all day. 5 minutes later i see this video. But the cutscenes were nice 🙂 i still can apply your advices so thank you
